I'm not going off topic. I'm trying to work out how Mothra can support the unions and at the same time support 457 visas.

*sigh* I'll bite at the risk of going even further off topic...

I support the "intention" of the 457 visa program and subclass because I've needed to use it in the past, but the implementation and enforcement of the rules is what lead to the problems with the system, the problems which were always overblown and inflated so the Government of the day could "take action" without really doing much.  Far too many people know far to little about what the 457 Visa was actually introduced for, the requirements and what has actually changed with the latest announcement.  The biggest nugget that all those who are tipping over themselves trying to prise Turnbull for the changes have missed is the loophole for countries we have FTA's with.

But I also support local workers rights.  It is possible to support both BUT, it does mean that in supporting the 457 Visa program, one must demange that the criteria and rules be enforced much better and the local employers who exploit the system be brought to justice and punished rather than simply blaming the immigrant workers, which is all that ever happens.

If the local side of the equation isn't balanced it won't matter what new visa subclass they bring in, it's loopholes or the entire system will just be exploited again.

I see you are back from psychiatric detention, anotherjourneybystraitjacket. The truly disturbing thing is that *THIS* is what is judged to be your best state of mental health.

It is a rabid leftie company. It's worse than the ABC and that's saying something.

Personally I didn't care for O'Reilly's rant. Too rigid, dogmatic and worst of all talked over the top of people he's supposed to be interviewing.

However he was fair and balanced - unlike Lou Dobbs and Hannity.

This was a political hit job - sour grapes from the Democrats. They blamed Fox for their loss and Bill was Fox's No1 - the obvious target.

Tucker Carson will probably take over his time-slot. Tucker's logic hits like a hammer. The Democrats will hate him.
