That is because all he has is his base. He has brought on no new supporters because he is so bad at the job and even a few of his base are disappearing. If he lasts until midterm elections in 2018 the Republicans could get smashed and lose their majorities and once that happens, nothing can save him from impeachment.

Nonsense. It's because Mr Trump's making the hard decisions for all Americans.

Leadership is not a popularity contest, you know. The only poll that counts is the one on erection day, you know.

You'll see. Mr Trump will make Amerika great again for shure.

Yes, Long, but you must agree. Polling this far out from an erection is meaningless.

you are as bad as some of the trumpoids and even Light at destroying threads and bringing in your oh-so-not-funny attempts at humour. Either get a damned sight better at forum-style humour or give it up.  No one even knows what you believe on pretty much any topic, assuming your arent a trump-esque character who actually has no opinion.

You could probably be a reasonable poster, but let me just inform you what most others already know: you are not funny. You are not clever or even moderately entertaining. You value is little different to Light other than that you are sane. Just not funny or clever.

Stick to your strengths. This is not one of them.

Although I agree with you 100% on Trump, I have to disagree with you in regards to Karnal.

He's the best poster on this forum, by a country mile.

Witty, intelligent and very well informed.

Well, I always read Longy's posts, you see. I read quite a few when Mr Abbott was in charge, all condemning the focus on polls.

Strangely, Longy relied on polls when the vile JuLiar was wrecking the country, and they appear to be important in defining the Trump administration too.

But Longy's right, Greggery. I'm terribly inconsistent. I have no backbone, you see, no ethical core.

I'm not funny at all. In actual fact, I'm an IDIOT.

Longy will agree for shure.

Trump was quoted just this week saying he didn't know how hard the job would be ...

Exactly. Mr Abbott didn't knew how hard the job would be either. How would he? He was merely the love-child of John Howard and the lovely Bronny after all.

How things have changed, eh? Mr Howard lost his seat, Bronny lost her preselection, Malcolm Turnbull got the top job,  and Mr Abbott stayed on as volunteeer firefighter and surf lifesaver.

Longy seems to have all that weight lifted from his shoulders- a new man. Maria Costal hasn't uttered a squeak. And the vile Shorten will be our next Roads and Infrastructure Prime Minister.

Let's all concentrate on Amerika, shall we?

Thanks, Longy, for a job well done.

Karnal is right in saying that Trump is making the hard decisions and hard decisions are not vote winners

He is there to make America relevant again and not the basket case that Obama left behind

like WHAT hard decisions???  Trump has so far been notable for the almost total lack of any decisions of note, hard or otherwise.

Excuse me, he left all Obama's economic policies and health care plan in place.

That was a very difficult decision to make.
