yeah, Ive been there twice, i wont go back again. First time I copped amoebic dysentry and nearly died.

I had low level tummy upsets the whole time I was there, but still have issues, 6 years on

my daughter went last year for 8 days with a group of ladies they only drank bottled water and it was all warm...she said it or lemonade was horrible but liquid...
only one lady got a tummy upset with food. so that was good she went to the Taj Mahal . thousands upon thousands of Indians visit it all day and every day.

And I have a good friend who lives in Manali. I leave for Japan for three weeks on May 22 but I know Japan so well I'd rather be going most anywhere else ... even India. I rode a motorbike from Delhi to Shimla, Spiti Valley then ended up in Manali. I'd been popping imodium while on the bike for obvious reasons but stopped when I got there as I had a few days to get normal again.
