this is after all for extremism..isnt it??..

I also believe being adults we should have an explanation of WHY..

if anyone was out of line in that thread then they should be banned...simple really let the culprit pay the penalty... I could only see one member behaving disgracefully in that thread anyway agnes....and if i had beena gmod that person would have been banned..

I locked the thread. It had developed far beyond the original "Pub Quiz" theme and had deteriorated into a nasty, bitter battle of words and slanging match. The Mod for this thread hasn't been on for years, so I stepped in. I would have thought Pub quizzes would be more suited to the Chat or General Board rather than in here

This particular subforum is also being used to start whinge and whine threads that to me, don't fit the "extremeism exposed" genre.

well thanks for that vic.. much appreciated..

but its all a matter of what is extremism dont you think.?..

the reason that was called pub quiz is because monk was bannished from the tavern where he started is as a pub quiz.. but it then went on to all sort of things....

in fact it should have been in games with a title like that but we all know what monks like and most threads never stay on topic anyway...

so I find this a bit strange to be honest.......the bickering that went on was no more no less than what goes on on other threads.. in some there is some very aggressive name calling....and nothing is stopped...

if you received a complaint then so be it...if your unhappy with what a person says.. shouldnt that person get a ban???....

if a person is locked out of a board where are they supposed to go with their ..chit chat...

if I put something in chat it gets sent to relationships where I am not posting...

so thats why I am in extremism..........so I dont get moved.. or now locked.... Sad

I just think gmods should wait until someone complains.. its not up to them to decide what is ok to talk about or say.........unless its vile of course then I see a need for protection but I think most members understand that...
