For those of who don't know who the great Islamic Philosophers are, here is a list them. I suggest you Wikipedia them.

1) Al-Kindi

2) Ibn Khaldun

3) Avicenna

4) Al-Farabi

5) Al-Gazali

6) Ibn Hazm

Or alternatively, just Wikipedia 'Islamic Philosophy.'

Then tell me here if you believe that Islam is ONLY a barbaric and backward religion.

Al Ghazali had an academic axe to grind against the philosophical school of thought that Ibn Sina embodied. Of course he's going to throw insults at him.
