Each State represents (WA is split into two, due to its immense size) the 8 'Regions' of the World.

Go to Victoria and you will find more South Americans than anywhere else in the country, especially Chileans.

Australia would brag that NZ is a State of Australia, but NSW is so culturally dependent on NZ ...no wonder so may Kiwis live there.

South Australia is so Middle-Eastern that besides having more 'Religious' buildings, it really is so 'treeless' that it might as well be a State of 'Desert'.

More South Africans live in southern WA (that includes Black ones) that even Botswanans & Zimbabweans are coming ashore there.

Queensland (alias Wallyworld) is soooo North American in many ways ...much like California is sooo Australian in many ways.

NT - well, its close to Asia and full of Asians.

Northern WA ...well, you get a lot of rich European 'Fishermen' and 'Miners' working there these days. It will change more so.

....but this is all just a 'process' of change.

Australia will one day fracture into many different INDEPENDENT 'nations' running their own show.
Federal empowerment goes when the UK removes the Union Jack rug underneath Australia's feet. Wink

Sure there are a substantial amount of WOGS (Warriors Of Greece) in 'Melbourne'.
But the term Wog now is thrust upon 'non-white' lazily.
Kinda pisses the Dago's (Not a Day Goes By) who like their name.

But the Greeks of Melbourne are like an old cliché that is being lost in the new Melbourne, let alone Victoria as a whole. Heaps of Greeks in Sydney too ...though they are more squatty and shorter than the Melbournian ones.

Plus, Melbournians are so 'insular', they don't know where Australia is, let alone if its true that the surrounding lands outside their 'bubble-world' is really called Victoria.

Anyway, this is just a quick-fix guide-line to understand why each state is the way it was, is and will be.

You could also understand why COPS...

In Sydney: Keep the Rich good, but the Poor commit crimes (go on riots) behind their backs.
In Melbourne: Keep the Poor in check, but the Rich go on organised crime (Packers, Grollo Bros, Rene Rivkin, Skase, Bond, etc) - yep, they 'party' on down there.
In Adelaide: They will keep you 'wife' in check, even when you're not home!
In Brisbane: They do take 'tips' (just like in the USA) and carry Eftpos.
Perth: They are just 'corrupt'.
Darwin: They will KILL YOU.
Hobart: Possibly the worst Cops of all ...because they will make you 'marry' into the Family. Shocked

It's all about 'culture' ...Australia's 'hidden' culture.
