The threshold for accepting extremist behaviour in England will drop to about zero, and mark my words, the same will happen here.

Enough is enough," UK Prime Minister Theresa May has said, announcing a new push to deny extremists their "safe spaces" both online and in the real world.

There is "far too much tolerance of extremism in our country", the Prime Minister said, speaking outside 10 Downing Street after a meeting of the 'Cobra' emergency response committee in response to the London Bridge terror attack the night before.

She's got that wrong. It's not a perversion of Islam at all. It's parts of Islam's Holy Scripts being acted upon by angry Muslims who are willing to die for Allah.

"Mrs May also proposed increasing jail sentences for terror offences".

More idiocy is revealed here about the sentencing of terrorists. Terrorist offences should have long since been attracting a full never-to-be-released life sentence, if not the death penalty (disallowed because the British are very decent-and-caring people).

Incidentally, notice how the Muslims are still very careful about not killing any of Britain's politicians? They know who their greatest enablers are.

We hear from people like Mr Baron wailing that we must do something. I agree with him. However, where Mr Baron and I disagree is that I say all that needs to be done is Plod to do his job, and if there aren't enough Plods to get the job done....get four of our bombers and their support crews out of Arabia and use the money saved to fund getting more Plods.

WTF are we doing there as part of a Western terrorist cartel when what we need to be doing is not be part of that cartel, and instead, look after Australians and our Guests here.

I don't believe it, and that's because the Voting Public in Australia and Britain are still voting in the parties which brought this whole situation about in the first place.

Why would the Libs and the Labs change their immigration policy while their supporters out in the 'Burbs will still be voting for them even if they keep building up the numbers of Muslims we have in this country?

I had doubts when 'we' went into Afghanistan.. when the bombing started, I said it was shameful that one of the richest nations on the planet was bombing the sh1t out of one of the poorest... didn't stop me trying to get there....... Aquinas said it - it is not the duty of a soldier to consider the justness of going to war (jus ad bellum), that is the politician's job - it is the duty of the soldier to ensure justness and right IN war so far as possible (jus IN bellum)....... not so easy to do when your 'enemy' is a bunch of locals who are stirred up to defend home and hearth from your presence there. This will be causing a hell of a lot of problems for Diggers in the future, and already has lead to some deaths, you mark my words.

What a shame that the odious Oldfield had to be the one with the hands on the clock correct there.... good thing he is not alone.

herb its not about the killing its about dividing / money /FEAR/ dont you get that...

driving trucks into crowd..... really???...the truck are not even blown up... Roll Eyes

blowing up teenagers ... really?....

whole cells are rounded up afterwards they lose more in the long run..

but in the short term people live in fear and dread....avoiding/ tourists go elsewhere....

the whole country suffers..... Angry

Helping Afghanistan to rid itself of the Taliban not such a bad ideal, but we now now that Pakistan maintains the Taliban and in reality, a sizeable chunk of the Afghan population are perfectly OK with Taliban.
