There goes Australia again, being the Stupid Country. First NSW sells all its tax-payer financed public utilities to the Chinese ... and now Queensland gives away massive coal reserves at only a fraction of its real value if we developed the mines ourselves.

they need to nationalise ALL our natural resources.

Oh I thought we were talking about giant dirty Indian holes in the ground.

I bet you'd love an indian hole, especially if he's swinging a kettle bell

I hope your wife looks at your google search history for that one  Grin Grin Grin

Now, just in case I do decide to move, where exactly are they digging this revolting ghee pit? Will the stench of curry be wafting across Burliegh Heads?

Post of the Day.

Cool

Nothing is more utterly stupid than a country that sells off its family silver to overseas buyers who will then value-add to the raw material and sell it back at a huge profit.

This is what Australia has been doing since Year Dot. Too bloody stupid and too bloody lazy to invest in its own resources.

50% of new residential housing in NSW has been earmarked for sale to Chinese and other overseas investors.

We are the Titanic in celebratory mood midway across the Atlantic.

A total and utter Ship of Fools.

nowhere near Burleigh.  It would probably take me less time to drive to your place from here than it would to drive to the mine. You'll have to go visit bigol if you want to see or smell the mine.

You're right, it's a bit closer from Burliegh to my house than to the curry pit.
You guys just better hope the wind doesn't blow your way. Curry stench is nasty!
