What if God was one of us
Just a Grunt like one of us
Just a trooper on the bus,
Trying to make his way home.....

Heaaa-vy!  Don't lay those trips on me, man.... not so early in the evening....

Know the enemies of a civil society by their public behaviour, by their fraudulent claim to be liberal-progressive, by their propensity to lie and, above all, by their attachment to authoritarianism.

At school assemblies students sing a popular school creed - 'This is our school' - sung in varied versions at many primary schools across Perth, which includes the lines, "Let love abide here, love of one another, love of mankind, love of life itself, and love of God".

"The School Education Act allows for public schools to teach no more than one hour a week of "general religious education" which can include "prayers and songs" – but it must not promote any particular religious practice or denomination."

Which religious denomination does not love their God ?

Teach children about religion, but don't put God in their school creed.

Religion without a God of some type. The loopy pills are working just fine.

Teaching religion (all denominations) at government schools is fine. It is an important part of history, art and even politics in some countries. Government schools shouldn't however require their students to declare a love of God.

The Right Wing only believe in free speech when they agree with what is being said.

To tune up what you said.
Teaching ABOUT religion as part of the history curriculum is fine, any form of proselyting is not.

havent heard this particular phrase but they say all kinds of nonsense at school assemblies.  The worst is the absurd "welcome to country" where they pretend we're back in the 1700s

x2

Utterly idiotic.

And Nashville is in the US, not here.  Cool
