The Northern Football League has ended the playing career of AFL diversity manager Ali Fahour, handing him a lifetime ban effective immediately.

Fahour received a 14-week ban, exceeding the threshold that would result in a lifetime ban from playing suburban football.

The embattled executive was yellow carded and banned for three games following the incident.
The release of new footage comes as Fahour prepared for a tribunal hearing on Wednesday night where a football suspension, in relation to the first incident of striking, will be decided.

The man who was punched in the face by Fahour on Saturday afternoon has called for him to be fired.
Dale Saddington, who was knocked to the ground after being hit by Fahour is considering pressing assault charges, and told the Herald Sun his assailant should lose his job. 

'It's no different just because it's on a footy field. You can't just go whacking blokes from behind,' he said.

Fahour will be de-registered from the NFL and any other Australian football competition, for breaching the 16-match threshold due to prior suspensions.

Fahour was charged with striking after knocking an opponent unconscious with an unprovoked punch during a suburban match at the weekend.

I couldn't believe it when I saw that disgusting video. This piece of scum needs to be dropped pronto.
