Jesus .. They're still banging on about this ....

This Black Armband harping back to historical clashes between their ancestors and the new settlers is psychologically disastrous for each new crop of aboriginal children.

It imposes upon them a default mindset of Victimhood for the rest of their lives that is both a handicap and a hindrance to them living a full and positive life free from "we wuz robbed" negativity.

It's very, very damaging to the children in that it develops an attitude in them that they have to carry for the rest of their lives.

It would be far more productive if they were to take a leaf out of Australia's migrants book and start life here untrammeled by resentments and neurotic grievances about what happened at another time and under very different circumstances than we have now.

More blackfella nonsense all whistled up from their imaginations as part of the Grievance Industry.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"A lack of understanding by university staff about the cultural obligations and traditions of Indigenous students is affecting retention rates.
Fewer than half of all Indigenous students complete their degrees, compared to about three quarters of non-Indigenous students, according to a 2016 Australian Centre for Educational Research report.
In an attempt to address that gap, Warumungu man Ethan Taylor organised the first national Indigenous student conference in Canberra — discussing barriers keeping Indigenous people from studying at tertiary institutions.
"Having to explain to tutors, 'Hi I wasn't at class because I was at a smoking ceremony' — sometimes it's very difficult to articulate these things when it's not the normal 'I wasn't at class because I'm sick,'" Mr Taylor said".
~~~~~~~~~~~

Bullshit of the highest order.

They've developed a 'respectable' reason why aborigines have such a high drop-out rate. Nothing to do with the demands of academia - hell no!. It's all the fault of the teachers for not pandering to their regressive bullshit in the year 2017.

Just heard on ABC news that 'Boundary St' and 'Boundary Rd' should have their names changed because they are 'racist".
Why?
Dunno, I stopped listening...

Idont have a problem with it as such...

after all we have war memorials  and sacred cemeteries where many were killed.....as long as they list both sides..

......historians tend to make it all a one way battle...at the end of the day  no one was there at the time...records were not exactly kept like they are today...

is this really what Aboriginals want?

or is it more like  some sanctimonious white people who think they are doing a massive service ... with a look at me look at me  goody twoshoes  smugness.. Angry

The tragedy, codsey, is that the adults are poisoning the minds of their children with each succeeding generation, rather than letting them grow up freely and without all this historical victimhood baggage.

It's only placing a millstone around their neck to drag around with them for the rest of their lives.

Coincidentally I once worked in a Sydney factory which employed all of nine nationalities that had fought on Hitler's side against my own mob, but I didn't let this become a Poor Me! Pity Party for the rest of my time there.

There used to be a law that aborigines had to be outside of town - on the other side of boundary road - after sunset. That's why every city has a several boundary roads a few km's from the CBD. As the city grew and suburbs sprang up outside the boundary, they eventually changed the law and said that aborigines must be inside boundary road after dark.

Dear Jesus ....

They're not even remotely 'aboriginal' in any shape of form.

All government funding for this silly nonsense should be halted immediately.

It's embarrassing, and fraudulent.

They're okay, gonads.

Those aboriginal ladies know what the hell they're singing and dancing about. They're telling ancient stories with sincerity, understanding, and appropriate movements, but this 'choir' of white folks is just plain embarrassing and unconvincing ~ and then the guy with his hands in his pockets ... Give me a break!

You pair obviously missed my point

I was berating the white people in the choir in Herbs link

trying to make out they were Noongar Aboriginals speaking an Aboriginal language.

The clips I posted were of true aboriginals singing & dancing in aboriginal language.

Herbs link was full of Wannabes making it up as they go.

We are both preaching from the same hymn book.
