I am wondering what a suitable penalty would be if they are found guilty?

Sooner or later these Thick Sheiks are going to deliver.

Sooner or later they are going to work out how the authorities have rumbled them.
Sooner or later we will have a tragedy and a huge cultural war

I think we have no option but to reduce the hazard by stopping immigration selectively.

We don't have capital punishment in this country, Booby.

Moreover, on 11 March 2010 Federal Parliament passed laws that prevent the death penalty from being reintroduced by any state or territory in Australia.

Your astounding ignorance has been duly noted, though.

But a good public hanging or guillotine job would make them think twice -
especially on live TV.

I am not in favour of it, however that same parliament could change legislation, so its not totally out of the question.

Again, your astounding ignorance has been duly noted.

It has been proven over and over again that capital punishment does not deter people from committing serious crimes.

Give them an option,
A; send them to Yemen, where they can smell their way home or,
B; face the lynch mob.

No, it's not totally out of the question.

Would you like to place a wager, though?

Any "lynch mob" that set out to kill prisoners in Australian jails would be acting outside of the law, and would quite possibly be deemed terrorists themselves, and thus subjected to very harsh penalties.

You didn't think that one through too well.

Seems like the security services are playing whack-a-mole.

Perhaps a tactic which addresses the root cause of these terror plots needs to be looked into.

Any suggestions?

Under my plan they have an option which is more than I can say for anyone who would have boarded the plane these mongrels wanted to blow up in the name of religion, which religion was that again?
