I's so glad this was consequenced.
It is an abomination that such things should happen.
Islam has nuffin' to do wiv it, of course. Totally random abomination.
Bet there is nothing in the Koran which refers to this.
Sounds more tribal/cultural/social than religion based.
Sorta like revenge spearing among the aboriginals.
ARGUMENT;ISLAMIC law [i.e. the following of ISLAM and the 'influence' of ISLAM] always informs the actions and the behaviour of any 'proper' moslem, and, the societal 'mores' which are evident witin every moslem majority nation.
That argument is made in this article.
Quote:Pakistan Village Council Orders 'Revenge Rape' of 16-Year-Old Girl
By Rick Moran 2017-07-26
A Pakistani jirga (village council) ordered the rape of a 16-year-old girl in retaliation for a rape on a 12-year-old committed by the girl's cousin, according to police sources.
.....This isn't typical of Islam.
You're an Islamophobe if you try and connect what happened to the little girl, whose family agreed to watch her being raped, to the Islamic faith.
Islam is a religion of peace and love.
There's nothing in the Koran to justify this.
At least, that's the argument that will be made by Islam's apologists.Indeed, I have no idea if such behavior is sanctioned by the Koran.
But no reasonably informed, rational person can deny that Islam informs and animates the lives of these people and even if there isn't a specific passage in the Koran that justifies it, Islam has its stamp all over this outrage.
https://pjmedia.com/trending/2017/07/26/pakistan-village-council-orders-revenge-...He makes the argument, that even if this appalling crime is not
explicitly sanctioned within the Koran, the
moral RESPONSIBILITY for this appalling travesty of common justice
can be 'sheeted home' to ISLAM, because Pakistan is a society that is
overwhelmingly dominated by 1/ ISLAM, 2/ the influence of
ISLAMIC law and by the influence of 3/
ISLAMIC cultural traditions.
TWO OBVIOUS Q's THAT ARISE FROM THIS INCIDENT....1/ Why DIDN'T the Pakistani jirga (village council) choose to punish
the rapist ?
2/ Why DID the Pakistani jirga (village council)
choose to punish an innocent party [the rapists sister], for a crime which was committed by another person [the rapist] ?
