Poland wants justice from Germany

Poland has started preparing a legal claim against Germany for war reparations in respect of the deaths of its citizens, including in Auschwitz, as well as the massive property damage.

This comes on the heels of the EU, urged on by Germany, taking legal action over Poland's refusal to accept a migrant quota.

Good luck to them. If there is truly an EU Court of Justice their claim should be upheld and the Germans be forced to cough up for their sins.

Meanwhile Poland is blitzing the media with images of concentration camp atrocities.

It's a counter-argument against the EU's threats to sanction them for refusing to take Arabs and making a law about parliament and the judiciary that is an opportunity for the EU to press them about the Arabs.
Nobody would want to be part of the EU if they were not dripping with [German] money. Which only highlights the cancer that is the EU.

What is it about the Germans?

They followed one leader, Hitler, into total destruction, from which they would still be recovering but for America pouring its wealth in.
Now they follow another one leading them to a different kind of destruction.

They physically raped & looted Europe under Hitler and since the war they have been financially raping & looting it.

The Romans had the right idea, with their forts along the Rhine to hold back the barbarians and preserve the then civilised world. You'd think they would have remembered the history. Trump has.

Any legal claim by Poland will have to overcome the hurdle of the 1953 agreement by the then Polish govt to waive further reparations.
But it is unarguable that the state and govt of Poland in 1953 was merely a Soviet puppet and not a free state with a.constitutional govt. And that waiver was made under Soviet orders.
Any Court considering just reparations now would have to recognise that or face being branded a tool of the EU.

Hitler did some good things, Bogie. He got the trains to run on time, he put the Poles to work, and he started on the extermination of Europe's untermenschen.

I wish I could sue the Japanese for the crap that they did against my great-uncle in New Guinea. Oh right... he arrived late and did not have anything more than jungle scratches against him.

70 years is a long time to hold a grudge against someone. Particularly if the grudge is against a country that has recovered from its wartime bashing, and the soldiers involved are now almost all dead.

Certainly that war has been over for a long time. But there is a new war now, again started by Germany.
We might call it the War of Sovereign Survival.

It's not a shooting war, so far anyway. But the central & east European countries are not going to be pushed around by a German-led EU alliance.

The street protests against Muslim invasion is able to happen in Poland for three reasons.

1. There's no significant Far Leftwing counter-demonstration to turn it into a violent riot that distracts from the original message by making the fighting the main theme of the news reporting.

2. The media is not dominated by liberal-progressive apologists for Islam.

3. The government is loyal to the preservation of the Polish identity and heritage and views 'multiculturalism' as being counter-productive to maintaining Poland as the homeland of the Polish people.
