I guess we can probably retire this thread pretty soon.  Looks like no coalition supporter wants to agree (or disagree) with the sentiment that somehow, the libs have done something wrong.

It's a real sad lack of honesty to be honest to never acknowledge the times when coalition is at fault.  Not that it was ever a surprise - time and time again we saw the double standards, the exercised right to hypocrisy that is the very lifeline of the coalition mindset.

No need to retire the thread. Just because the Coalition supporters go to ground whenever there's yet another story implicating their sorry mob in corruption doesn't mean it's not worth discussing.

Indeed.

And they made up the story on a Sunday, so they got paid penalty rates.

So the best coalition supporters came up with was "ABC bias".  Probably better off calling it a conspiracy and say they will sue for defamation or some other nonsense.

No, there's no tax increase.

Penalty rates are budgeted for across the year, in the same way that a coffee shop, restaurant, etc. budgets for and sets prices to cover their annual expenses.

You really don't know how penalty rates work, do you?

That's not the only thing he doesn't really know much about.

The biggest problem with the Victorian Libs (and to some degree Federally) is the lib party members.

Lib party clearly not good at organising their own party finances - either they can't raise enough, spend (I mean rort) less or combination of both.

And ofc Malcolm adding his money to help campaign his own  election....

As soon as they lost government, I suppose all that easy taxpayer money went with it as well.

Can't manage own party finances - and people think they can manage the economy?

Excellent diversion to non-topic of penalty rates.  Pointless.

Matthew Guy looks like to be gone from the next election as leader.

libs couldn't balance a budget if their lives depended on it.

Without the ability to sell assets, they have nothing.
