You lefties really need to buy yourselves a dictionary. Alcatraz was a federal prison. Let me spell that for you P-R-I-S-O-N. That's a place where people are locked into cells and not allowed to leave and their every movement and every moment of their day is strictly controlled by armed prison guards. Honestly, I think you all ought to go ask for a refund from your schools, because clearly you've learned nothing whatsoever from your education.

Your from iran. Why travel half way across the world, past plenty of other countries to try and seek asylum. Seems theyre very picky as to where they "want" to live as opposed to escaping from wartorn areas.

I would rather see my tax $$$$$ spent on the elderly of this country rather than worrying about people from another country.

I dont see any evidence that the death rate amongst refugees on manus is any higher than it would be in the general community. And comparing to Alcatraz is just plain stupid hysterical over reaction. Maybe it would be a better comparison if the Jews sent to Auschwitz were actually fleeing their home country TO Germany Apart from that, just about the same.
