That doesn't mean these country shoppers have the right to attempt to force their way into Australia against our government's wishes. If they were genuine refugees, that would be a different story. But they aren't, as you've admitted. They should be sent back as soon as their application is rejected.

So 4 years on , why haven't they been sent back !

A number of reasons - some countries aren't allowing them back. I think Iran or Syria are in that group. But for many of them, they are in limbo due to refugee advocates tying the governments' hands in countless legal battles costing taxpayers millions of dollars.
