Time to DRAIN THE SWAMP

Back in the late 90's both major parties and the Greens and Democrats closed ranks on PHON and refused to allow checks on dual citizenship after dumping out their first choice Senator Heather Hill who was still a British Citizen.

20 years later and guess what... we all must by now have a fair idea why.

It's time to drain the swamp, time to turf out all MPs and Senators who have dual citizenships and start again.

You cannot serve 2 masters.

Time to end political donations and be certain that no one not even Dastyari is being bought.

Anyone in the past having been found to rort the system... turf them out.

New Blood is needed, this current polity is the worst I can ever remember.

I agree with you....I also believe the Government should be made more transparent so Ministers can't escape scrutiny....Perhaps a federal ICAC???

Agree....and leave Section 44 alone. I don't care how you are entitled...by birth, descent or whatever.....if you are entitled to citizenship of a foreign power as the section says......you cannot be a MP.

Renounce and all is well. Two Bob each way.......Nah, far cough.

I say that is what s 44 intends and that is why it is crystal clear.
