This is at least 2 yrs old now- more senationlist topics about rape- why?

It was pretty horrible- but dont rehash old news- what is the point? As if we dont get enough nasty topics about these assaults- and they always descend into nastiness- and you know it-

RIP to the victim- I am sure you wouldnt want your story used this way- respect to the victim-

Hey! That sounds familiar.

Quote:
“There is not enough evidence to establish that Mr Attwater committed the unlawful and dangerous act which led to Lynette’s death,” he wrote to Ms Daley’s family.

Not only was the young woman too drunk to consent to sex with the men, her insides had been ripped apart. The injuries left her bleeding to death. But that, according to Babb, was not a crime.

It was an inexplicable slap in the face for Ms Daley’s family and her seven children.

The young woman had already had a tough life.

Said by one of her sisters to be kind-hearted and wanting everyone to be happy, she had been a victim of domestic violence almost since her first boyfriend. “All Lynette’s partners used to belt her,” her sister told a 2014 inquest into her death.

After The Daily Telegraph revealed the shocking injustice that her attackers had gone free, the will of the people swung in. Public pressure led to charges being laid.

Lloyd Babb owes Lynette Daley’s family an apology.

They are unlikely to get one.

Lynette Daly had had a hard life fom the outset always a victim of voilent men from the very first-"her insides have been ripped apart" the article goes on to say- I hope they threw the book at them- these 2 had a history of violence against women- for about 15 years or more- thank you cods for the news update- at least we know now that "justice" has been served if you could call it that -

I fail to understand as an ex Police Officer, how with the evidence well presented by Channel 9, who did a great job on this..why the offenders were not pursued in the first instance

It speaks of a really sloppy investigation either that or the D.P.P. did not pursue the charges laid in the first instance,. Someone most probably multiple persons, need to face the chopping block on this one

It is a disgrace and an outrage

YES!!! Times 10!!!

Failure to pursue and prosecute crime in this nation is endemic... it is all far too much in the hands of bureaucrats, who are in the hands of their political masters, and in turn those political masters are in the hands of their own 'mates'....

This leads to a total failure of JUSTICE - in many ways.

You can add to that the absolute inability and unwillingness of the 'courts' to find properly on evidence.. and that works many ways.

I've told you before - my cousin's husband was a top gun in the NSW DPP, and is now a Deputy Commonwealth DPP... wouldn't give his judgement and perception one iota......

I deal in a different world.... a world in which people are judged by the results of their actions, and by the way they approach things..... not by their position.... out here we have no time for that....

Politics has no place in Law....

I'm certain Red Baron will say the same....

The issue doesn't go away. It remains the simple question of:-

Will Right Be Done For All Equally?

Now - I can see the point of view of a couple of loser blokes wanting to spend a drunken party night with a drunken sheila and do whatever they want and she apparently wants.... while they're all drunk to the eyeballs...

Not something I would do or want to do.... but the fact remains:-

This woman died as a result of an extreme 'sexual' act.. something I would not do or would not even contemplate.... and then the people responsible for that act displayed craven indifference and criminal intent in seeking to hide the result of that act.... which, in this case, was clearly the death of a person subjected to that act.

Then, upon investigation, the authorities concerned, namely the police, did not pursue the clear evidence that there had been clear intent to cover the result of that extreme 'sexual' act.

I find that the perpetrator of that act is directly responsible for the outcome of that act, and is thus culpable of the charge of manslaughter - meaning without intent to kill but causing death by a conscious act.

There can be no mitigation of incapacity due to self-imposed drunkenness, as laid down by law in this State, and therefore the person directly responsible for the death of Lynette Daley is guilty of manslaughter.

The other party, Maris, who contrived to cover the results and conceal the evidence of the results of that action by the perpetrator, is guilty of concealing evidence and of attempting to pervert the course of justice.

What other part he may have had in the events leading to the death of Lynette Daley are not known.

May he rot in Hell... alongside his 'mate' who did the deed.

On a different level, I find the DPP and the NSW Police criminally liable for failure to pursue the ends of justice in this matter, and sentence those responsible to ten years of penal servitude without parole....

Court is adjourned.

That might sound rough to some here - but, as a man, I would never entertain doing what they did or condone it in any way.

Bring Back The Rack!
