I agree Mothra. But Gordon's racism is so blatant maybe he genuinely doesn't realise how offensive it is. I suspect that most racists don't set out to be malicious or offensive. Which is why its so insidious.

I suspect a lot of his problem with 'curries' (which is the theme of a lot of his comments) is more about trying to stick it to Aussie. Aussie upset him about a year ago and he's been on a curry witch hunt since.

Yeah but it's not just "curries", is it. Even his explanation as to why he isn't a racist was dripping with racism.

I think the truth of the matter is that Gordy only attracts arseholes, so he assumes that those arseholes (because it's all he knows) are apt representations of their ethnicity. He seems to see very much that is wrong with everything all the time.

Well we need to start with the given that he's tougher than all the boys and irresistibly attractive to all the girls. Okay?

Then there's his IQ of 186. (that's my favourite)

He's devilishly good looking and we women throw ourselves at him.

We don't have the security clearance to know what he does but it's like, really. really important and stuff. Like, lives and national security hang in the balance.

He's intimately familiar with all pertinent details of everywhere he's ever been. As such he is world leading expert on Indonesia and a bunch of other place. (He shares this attribute with Gordy ... as though they are suddenly and uncharacteristically open-minded, inclusive, and nuanced in other parts of the world)

He knows what Aboriginals smell like and i don't. In fact, he;s a bit of an expert on our Indigenous people. That's how he knows they're all like the ones he's met (who probably didn't like him either).

There's more .. what have i forgotten ...

Oooh he knows all about asylum seekers (national security matters?), although we have to take his word for this. He's not allowed to tell us why he's wrong and we're right all the time.

There's one i am trying to remember. It was the usual Rhino schtick ... making an absurd and bigoted claim then telling everyone that disagrees with him that they have no life experience ... you know ... and i was the one disagreeing with him. Probably when i made one of my "claims".

Anyway, this was a kicker and he's brought it up a few times, mocking me for not knowing something or other because my understanding of it is different from his (because i'm not prejudiced, mostly) .... except that tiff was with Ian.

Ian. Who we all knew was Rhino but Rhino has always denied being.

Rhino just posts exactly like him, thinks (if indeed it can be called that) just like him and shares his memories.
