This follows comments from Mr Andrews earlier in the week, in which he described Mr Turnbull as leader "at the moment".

The Coalition has long been suffering in opinion polls under Mr Turnbull. According to the most recent Newspoll, released last Monday, the Coalition trails Labor, 46 to 54 per cent. This was 22nd Newspoll in a row that had the government in an
election-losing position.

turnbull deserves to have his arse handed to him on a silver plate.

this is this mornings keystone cops moment

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull says he will not accept an offer to resettle asylum seekers on Manus Island and Nauru in New Zealand at this stage.

New Zealand's Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern discussed the offer with Mr Turnbull today, as close to 600 men refuse to leave the now closed centre, despite water, food and power being cut off

Many of the men say they are too afraid to resettle in alternative accommodation and are refusing to leave the detention centre, which is also a Papua New Guinea (PNG) naval base.

Mr Turnbull thanked Ms Ardern for the offer, which was first made by former prime minister John Key, and said his Government remained focused on a refugee resettlement deal with the United States.

instead of getting these people somewhere safe once and for all, he's worried about what a few rednecks will think

On Sunday, Mr Andrews renewed his calls for action, saying the government was not able to get any clear air because of continued questions about MPs' citizenship status.
"It's unsustainable to do nothing," Mr Andrews said. "The issue is out there and running and it's not going to go away until its resolved."

It sure isn't Kevin  Smiley

In September Turnbull stood before the media demanding that Bill Shorten prove that he wasn't a British citizen. Now when it looks like the citizenship saga could take down even more coalition MPs, Turnbull is claiming it's a "witch hunt". Witch hunt? How about you just obey the law.

there is absolutely no need to not accept the offer other than to be malicious.
