Slavery was a part of West African 'culture' long before the White Man got there...

Slavery has been part of many cultures in the past..... but here and now in Australia we don't have slavery, and apart from the usury of wage slavery and convict free labour, we've never had it here as a formal institution.

Africans have had it for thousands of years, like the Arabs who preyed on African tribes for slaves and many others as well.

Slavery was pretty much universal when Europeans gained ascendancy. It's ironic that people now think it was something unique to European colonisation, when in fact the only unique part was Europeans bringing an end to slavery. For some reason people see Europeans as some kind of cause of slavery, because when they look back through time the first they see of it is usually in European hands. But that only works if you are looking backwards.

Having adopted a religion that enshrines slavery into law, and in particular sex slavery as a principle mechanism of spreading the religion, Yassmin has to do some impressive moral gymnastics to criticise countries like Australia.

Britain historically and culturally has little in common with Europe. When Britain invented slave trade to America Europe had abolished slavery long time before that.
For the sake of truth just replace word European with Anglo. Europeans, Dutch and French, discovered Australia before British but, unlike Queens pirates, they didn't carry out genocide on local population.
Sorry but proven historical Anglo crimes against humanity can not be shared with civilised Europe.

All empires conducted slavery. The Arabs, Romans etc etc. It isn't just an anglo thing. Look I up. It's a human thing. It still exists today. In Africa they still do it.

The N******s of Niger/Nigeria were part of the entire West Africa that created the concept of Slavery.
They, in time, taught the northern Arabs the concept and they transferred it to the rest of the world.
In Europe - the Romans adopted it from the Middle-East and the Vikings enthusiastically used it during their expansion across Europe and all the way to the Middle-East.

As for the British using 'slavery'?
Well guess where they got their slaves from to take to the Americas? West Africa of course - more than happy to off-load their excess baggage like an over-populated Mexico looking for someone else to feed their kids.

Ti's a shame that Confederate Americans are 'blamed' for the Slavery of Black Americans (in a country where 5th generation American Blacks still call themselves 'African'  Roll Eyes ...because Africans are apparently 'only black').

The West Africans 'dealed' the Drug, but the Confederates get gaoled for being the 'user'. Drop the Dead Donkey!

Personally I'm glad she's gone, just wish she'd shut-up or people would stop reporting on her in Australia...  in her case...  ignorance is bliss.

'Lest We Forget (Manus)': Muslim activist Yassmin Abdel-Magied posts ANOTHER 'disrespectful' tribute on Remembrance Day

She was slammed on Anzac Day for almost identical message which she deleted
Her comments have not gone unnotice and been labelled as predicatable

Muslim activist Yassmin Abdel-Magied has taken to Twitter to post about Remembrance Day - in an almost identical post to her Anzac tribute which was labelled as 'disrespectful' and 'malicious'.
The former controversial ABC host took to social media on Saturday with  a simple post reading #LestWeForget.
But just a few lines down in brackets she put (Manus).

The post is almost identical to the Facebook post which landed her in trouble on Anzac Day

In April she was slammed after a similar post which read 'Lest we forget (Manus, Nauru, Syria, Palestine.'
And there was some of the same outrage the second time around.
'How dare you,' wrote one man on the post.

'I still don't think WWI remembrance should be brought into the Manus fray(didn't you say you regretted this approach last year?),' said another of her followers.
'So predictable Yassmin. Odds on to tweet that out on Rememberance day,' said another.
The Anzac Day post was quickly deleted by the former television presenter and she apologised.

'It was brought to my attention that my last post was disrespectful, and for that, I apologise unreservedly,' she said.
One of her followers tried to applaud the woman for being brave but his comment was quickly slammed by others.
'Not brave, just inflammatory and ignorant. As for insight. I’ve yet to see any display of insight, just immature ill thought out ideas aimed at hurting cultures that offered her a future instead of the oppression she’d have faced growing up in Sudan,' said one.
'Shakes head in disbelief that (Yassmin) really doesn’t get it,' said another.
'You again! You don’t get it ! So disrespectful! Hide in London silly girl , hearing your name and seeing your face disgusts me,' said another.

I think you'll find the Spanish and Portuguese were the first into the Atlantic slave trade. Although their monarchs made genuine attempts to end slavery, they were not successful. Slavery within Europe had largely come to an end as a social institution after the demise of the Roman Empire, but it was still a key part of the global economy until the Europeans and Americans made a conscious effort to end it.

And the Hollanders and such didn't arrive here in sufficient numbers to supplant the local ne-er-do-wells.  When you talk about 'genocide' remember that a lot of it was due to disease and not some calculated program, and the actual numbers of Kangaroo Kaffirs now is higher than then... and a lot of the Kaffirs who died were killed by other tribes when they sought to move out and away from the evil White Man with his sicknesses and his guns and his love of protecting his cattle and sheep.

Native Americans (Indians) took slaves when they attacked other tribes........well before Britain's involvement with the slave trade, and the slaves transported to America from Africa were taken by Arab slavers.......and sold to the British.....your own plantation owners were only to happy to buy them at the auctions in Charleston..........

Learn your own fvvking history dipstick........

It's just an excuse to justify the Yankees subjugating the confederates into submission.
Much like the 'Unionist' Brits used the Blacks against the Boers - who were 'integrating' with the African tribes 'before' the British got there. Hence why the Boers were heavily into Farming, rather than Politics.
As you can see in South Africa - it's Politics that has ruined the country and divided it.
So who really is to blame?
