I don't know whether prawns or jellyfish feel pain. It's a rough ocean for them if they do.

But seriously I think there is a distinction between the lower and higher orders of life when it comes to these issues, unless you want us all to eat grass - does grass feel pain? Better speak to Tiger Woods, he must be whopping the proverbial out of those divots.

But having had exposure to cattle and horses, as well as the real rulers of the planet, the cats & dogs, I am in no doubt as to their perception not only of physical cruelty but emotional cruelty as well.
Ergo, it behoves our society, which purports to be in advance of certain others which shall remain nameless, to adhere to the strictest tests and inspections when it comes to slaughter. Just as we expect proper euthanasia for our pets but sadly not for ourselves.

I wouldnt harm any animal in fact I am sure a few will understand when I say I like animals more than some humans... Sad

however we are talking ab out a deal written in another country for another country....it is in fact none of our business...

but being a realist as much as I dislike it I realise it is a fact of life today..

and yes for all you MUSLIM WORSHIPPERS it goes on in the country EVERY DAY..

can you explain the difference between this type of slaughter

being allowed in Australia and being allowed in Britain????>..

Yep the best would be for it to snap your vertebrae with its k9's around the neck rather than being asphyxiated.
