the Greens get more and more

disgusting.

https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/nsw/treasurer-scott-morrison-slams-greens...

TREASURER Scott Morrison has taken time out from delivering the government’s mid-year financial health check to slam Greens senator Nick McKim for mocking Christmas.

Senator McKim and his Tasmanian colleague Peter Whish-Wilson caught the ire of Mr Morrison after posting an image of a banner which reads: “merry non-denominational seasonal festivity”.

“Sorry Eric,” they wrote on Facebook, in reference to senator Eric Abetz, alongside the image. But Mr Morrison said Christmas was a “very spiritual time of year and central to (Christians’) religious faith”.

“Grow up and show some respect to your fellow Australians,” he said. “You may not share their views or their beliefs, but as elected members the least you could do is not mock them, especially during a time of year that is very important to them.

“For Members of Parliament to treat this important religious occasion with such disrespect is as offensive as it is disappointing,”

In April Senator McKim was slammed by conservatives for mocking Easter after joking he would treat his staff to “halal-certified holiday eggs and warmed non-denominational cinnamon-flavoured geometrically decorated seasonal fruit buns”.

Senator McKim’s banner was likely a reaction to Senator Abetz’s request to 85 government agencies asking how they were celebrating Christmas in messages to staff: “Please provide the messages (if any) sent to staff (on the most recent occasions) of Christmas/New Year, Easter and Ramadan by the Secretary of the Department or Agency Heads at the relevant time,” he requested.

Christmas is just a way for shops to sell their crap and con kids into being good for a change....Christianity is defiantly not above criticism like any other religion that believes they are somehow special....Christians are no better than anyone else and Christmas sucks!!!

Most of the Greens are demented turds anyway, it's no surprise they behave like the immature extremist pricks they are.

Yet Scott Morrison is not above using religion for his own political ends....What a hypocritical wanker!!!

Quote:
Morrison sees votes in anti-Muslim strategy

THE opposition immigration spokesman, Scott Morrison, urged the shadow cabinet to capitalise on the electorate's growing concerns about "Muslim immigration", "Muslims in Australia" and the "inability" of Muslim migrants to integrate.

Mr Morrison's suggestion was made at a meeting in December at which shadow ministers were asked to bring three ideas for issues on which the Coalition should concentrate its political attack during this parliamentary term.

The Herald has learnt several colleagues, including the deputy leader, Julie Bishop, and the former immigration minister Philip Ruddock, strongly disagreed with the suggestion, pointing out that the Coalition had long supported a non-discriminatory immigration policy and saying it was not an issue that should be pursued.

But after Mr Morrison's comments this week on the cost of asylum-seeker funerals and his role in the controversial decision to cut a Howard government program to fund schools in Indonesia, colleagues are privately questioning whether he is trying to pursue an anti-Muslim political strategy unilaterally.

The Green Left represent a clear and present danger to the erosion of values held dear to most Australians

Remember when you vote for this  Party you are voting for EXTREMISM and a radical way of life

This Party is not warm and cuddly and engages in ever increasing acts of violence to try and wrest their way

They need to be sh.t canned when it comes to your vote

Sorry cods, I made a similar thread before seeing this. Exactly, it is weird how you don't see the Greens doing the same for Iftar or Ramadan isn't it. Any lefties care to answer why that may be?

All religion is bullshit and not above criticism IMO!!!

yes leis just ignore the electorate's concerns.

Why should we fund Indonesian schools? hmmm.
