If Barnacle has applied for the position he should be appointed Mod.

Have a feeling he will ignore shenanigans until they go too far then stop them. In the meantime he will post quality science, good, great even posts. Everyone here, myself included, can learn heaps from Barnacle.

I'm sorry - but Bobby is too 'Anti-Monk' to focus enough on being a Mod here. Having 12 'yesirs' in the Poll shows that all of his PA'ers have supported him, even though hardly any of them actually come to Environment. It's like watching a 'school yard' political assault. They are currently posting '5 stars' on his Facebook business review even though they have never bought his product.
Bobby is a 'who you know', not 'what you know' in this Environment section.

Bobby is too focussed on this ice age he thinks/believes/wants to happen. Not the minor ice age Dubyne craps on about but a “pole to the Mediterranean” major ice age.

Having this religious zeal for this nonsense he steps over boundaries. As Mod this religious zeal will destroy the board—alternative points of view, scientific evidence will end up being banned or driven away.

He also evades discussion when it might make him uncomfortable, including being asked to defend Mod action he has taken. Nah, not suited and if appointed might as well write “RIP Environment board.” Don’t know if that is what FD wants or if activity, good information etc is important to him.
