How are we westerners to view Muslims?

We have seen the excesses, known to us previously through ancient & medieval histories.
We have watched ISIS & such like burn people alive in cages, throw homosexuals off buildings, carry away chain gangs of girls for sex slaves, hold mass beheading executions.

We have watched the daily - DAILY - atrocities in Europe. The knifings, the gang rapes, the dismemberments, the groping and assaults, and now apparently the cannabilism.

So how are we to view these "people"?

With friendship and a warm welcome?

All moslems are taught, by ISLAM's precepts, to be combatants, against Allah's enemies.

To fight, to kill, those who 'disbelieve'.

Before anyone can answer that question, they have to establish what makes an individual into a Muzlim. First and foremost, all Muzlims believe the Koran is the infallible word of God. But the many subdivisions of Islam afford the convenient opportunity for one of the faithful to disown the atrocities perpetrated in their name.

Leading Islamic clerics declared war on the West in the 1970s and 80s citing Western support for Israel. Often using the word revenge, they declared all of the West and all Western people were legitimate targets in this war.

The problem for the West in legal and moral terms was that those societies had already embarked on a grand social experiment of cultural equality. It is a noble experiment, but short term political leaders have never had the authority or gumption to face the reality of Islam's declaration of war.

A distinction should be made between Islam - the religion; and Islamism - the ideology of imposing an Islamic state over society.

There are many Muslims who are Islamists, particularly in Britain where the majority of Muslims are conservative.

The problem with Islamists is that no one can agree as to what an Islamist state would like. To be honest, I don't think they really want an Islamist state even though they say so. Either that, or the Islamist state will end up being the exact same as what we have now.

More like muslims are 1400 years behind Christianity, they are stuck in the 7th century, with muhammad as the perfect example for all mankind. The qur'an infallible and unchangeable word of allah.

So they're stuck, as any sort of questioning will destroy islam.

muslims are forbidden in the qur'an, to question on this account.

qur'an 5.101: O ye who believe! Ask not questions about things which, if made plain to you, may cause you trouble. But if ye ask about things when the qur'an is being revealed, they will be made plain to you, allah will forgive those: for allah is oft-forgiving, most forbearing.

qur'an 5.102: Some people before you did ask such questions, and on that account lost their faith.

Today 2018 muslims will not question the evil in the qur'an which causes world wide islamic terrorism, they prefer the bloodshed to thoroughly examing the cause of all the problems.
