Will the treasonous vile Greenies be the first ever "party" to get a negative vote at the election ?
Will Bull S. resign if Labor loses Batman ?
The Greens tearing themselves to pieces in MelbourneAMM 15/03/2018
Vote Green in Batman and get this unstable dross.
Oh such sweet music to the ears of sane people.
To use the words of the dope Rob Oakeshott, who said, “It’s going to be ugly, but it’s going to be beautiful in its ugliness.”
The contest this Saturday is for Batman in Melbourne where all sides are fighting like tomcats on heat using desperate language.
On the Greens national front the old Marxist hag Senator Lee Rhiannon is at the throat of leader Di Natale.
With a bit of luck they will tear the party to pieces and their followers just might wake up to what the Greens are all about.
“You’re f–king finished,” the Greens staffer snarled down the phone. “I’m going to tear you to f–king pieces.” The dramatic threats, made on the weekend to this journalist, sound more like a scene from the TV show House of Cards than the words of a party that says it “does politics differently”.
http://morningmail.org/greens-tearing-pieces-melbourne/#more-78006And just to thrill the despairing Lefties as their hero the CFMEU puppet Bull S. steers the Labor Titanic into the iceberg.Pensioner Pete 15/03/2018, 7:06 amA loss for the Greens in Batman is a gain for all Australians. Rock on baby!!
Jack Richards 15/03/2018, 7:46 amI wonder why it is that “bohemians” living in central Melbourne think they have any right to decide the fate of a mine – and the jobs and income it will generate – in rural central Queensland?
Much as it offends my religion, I’ll be hoping for a Labor win. Anyone but a Green.
Eliza 15/03/2018, 8:01 amWith you on those thoughts JR.
Pensioner Pete 15/03/2018, 8:36 amJack: In fact, the towns in close proximity to the proposed Adani mine will gain absolutely nothing in jobs or income from the mine, towns like Alpha, Jericho, Clermont and Moranbah.
It is a FIFO mine with the miners flown from Townsville and Rockhampton.
The Environment Court heard evidence from an Adani representative there will not be 10,000 jobs created, but a measly maximum of 1464 jobs as the mine is proposed to be automated as much as possible.
Add into the equation the permanent loss of groundwater and surface water, permanent detrimental impacts upon the Great Artesian Basin, the loss of productive cattle country forever and the fact the income generated for the State is outweighed by the cost of rehabilitation (borne by the taxpayer like every other coal mine rehab so far), there isn’t really much to be gained by this monster coal mine.
I even had our local pollie try to tell me there were jobs in it for our town, which happens to be close to 500km away, frankly, the bullshit circulating about the ‘benefits’ of Adani, far outweigh the facts.
In any case, it is very unlikely this monster mine will get up due to the lack of financial support amongst other things like the exposed corruption of Adani himself.
There are far better coal mine prospects in Queensland which actually will bring benefit to the State, however, Adani is not one of them.
Bushkid 15/03/2018, 9:28 amI share your concerns PP. I drive through areas of current and former mining here in CQ on a weekly basis, and it’s ugly, it’s destructive, and anyone who claims the country can be returned to pre-mine conditions is lying.
Economically, we do need to mine and export our coal (so long as we get a proper share via royalties and there are genuine jobs for Australians involved). We also need to mine coal for cost-effective and efficient electricity generation. But this has to be done at decent scales so as to be manageable, and it has to employ Australians. Oh, and the mining companies themselves have to pay for the “restoration”, not the ever-gouged tax-payers.
Lorraine 15/03/2018, 8:43 amThe mantra put the Greens last, Peta Credlin on Fox has this dopey Green stupid ,on her show, it so annoys me that she gives this total wanker a platform.
When any of the TV shows interview or allow a Greens position be flouted on any topic it is sickening.
The Greens other than Batman have less than 10% of the National vote, I do not wish to hear their whimpers and wishes on how we should return to caves in the forest, who will make the candles, no petrol no diesel electric cars with no plug ins for the power 50 ks from CBD. A mad lot is an understatement.
