I think you are right, but I'd like to see a link. That RC ran from February, 2014 to December 2015. Shorten was out of the AWU in August 2007.

They got Shorten upon the stand and queried him relentlessly - he came out squeaky clean. Even the Commissioner said so.... yet people still sling mud without any basis....

What would you think the odds that the Royal commission investigators and accountants missed a $100,000 payment ????

These guys were questioning $200 expenses.

The Royal commission pulled all financial dealings and meeting minutes etc between around 2002 to 2014/5. This new investigation is into the information from 2007 which would be included in the same documents.

It's all about slinging mud - great way to run a country... I hold no brief for Shorten or the current Labor party or the ACTU ... but I stand for fair play and not this vile personal attack way of managing MY nation.

BTW:- Why is it that we have 'senators' who are state representatives = senators - as Ministers of the Crown?

Ministers must uphold the right (Tenez Le Droit) for all citizens - not just their own state ... and must perforce be ONLY from the lower House.....

Another rort set in place by the ruling elite political parties to benefit their mates and their sons and daughters.... why the fork else would such a creature be elected at all?

The more you look at it, the more corrupt and Third World Il Presidente it all becomes.
