A FIVE-year-old boy has died after being stabbed during a domestic dispute at Carlingford this morning.

Police said the child was left with serious stab wounds about 7am and he fled with his grandmother to nearby Moseley St to raise the alarm.
Paramedics performed CPR and the boy was rushed by police escort to Westmead’s Children’s Hospital in a critical condition but died about an hour later.

A 36-year-old Carlingford man, who was a relative to the child, was arrested nearby and taken to Castle Hill Police Station and is currently being questioned. Charges are expected to be laid.

At a police press conference this morning, NSW Police Superintendent Rob Critchlow described it as a “very difficult” and “heartbreaking” situation that was going to affect the community. They are going to suffer badly from this,” Supt Critchlow told the media.

“As a community we’re poorer because we’ve lost a young man today. His wounds were so severe he died at 8.02 at the hospital, he said.

He said from what police could tell there was only the boy, the man who has been arrested and the grandmother in the house.

A skim down the headlines on daily basis throws up case after case of males attacking, raping, killing, terrorising women and children.  It's a sullen drip drip, day after day

Most offenders whine and lie when before the courts.  Sure, they want to preserve their own liberty. They don't want to be taken from circulation.  They don't want to be inconvenienced.  They don't want to lose a moment of their precious lives in prison.  They believe they should be excused:  ' I was having a bad day your honour. I was coming down from ice, grog.  Make an exception for me.  Sure, I killed her, them, but it was an accident.  They provoked me.  Give me a bit of community service then let me go back to my mates, the footies, the grog, my beloved big car/bike muffler, porn, kicking the dog, coward-punching strangers for a laugh

I don't want to be locked up, mate !  Geez, nine years !  You reckon that's fair?  All I did was biff her around a bit.  Not my fault she had a soft skull.  All I did was punch that guy in the head -- not my fault he fell and died.  He was old, anyway, and wouldn't have had long to live. I did him a favour in a way.  Don't lock me up mate, not me, c'mon, show some leniency

What !?? Three years for raping that chick?  You gotta be joking !  She's a slut.  She was asking for it.  She shoulda paid me !  No way am I going inside mate.   Fix it.  Isn't that what solicitors are for?

What??  You're going to slam me inside for stabbing my kid?  You know I didn't mean to !  As if I would.  He was being annoying/got in the damn way.  I was off my head on ice/steroids/grog.  I'd give my life for that kid, ask anyone.  I'm a good dad.  Get me a lawyer.  This isn't fair ... '

It will be in the headlines for a few days.  Charged.  Then nothing for months or years.  End result will be aggravated manslaughter or something.  Mitigating circumstances: stress, drugs, grog, slipped on his thong, son ran into him, dog barked, whatever. Sentenced to eight years minus however long he's held at the start.  Out in four years or less, before the child's body even has time to decompose fully

Will marry again, have more kids, will live into old age

Need a licence to drive

Need no licence to breed

To obtain a driving licence there's at least a pretence of assessing their fitness and suitability

No assessment as to fitness to breed

What could possibly go wrong?

its all too hard... lets face it they take children away from parents for every crime under the sun ...

then leave the parents to go on breeding

A Queensland man who set his teenage girlfriend on fire and left her with permanent scarring has been sentenced to 11 years in jail.

in latest news, Nine News

he'll be out long before 11 years

Now where are all the fathers, brother, uncles who'll be there when he emerges and waves ta ta to his prison boyfriends?  Where are they who'll give him a taste of his own medicine as a learning-experience and lesson to any other tough-guys who're thinking of doing as he did ?

Anyone who touches anyone of mine will rue it to their dying day.  And when they die, I'll be there waiting for them and will chase them through hell

So called Law needs to harden up.  A'holes do not learn through BS 'rehabilitation'.  They only learn through personal pain.  That's the conclusion of researchers who investigated 'rehabilitation' for 20 years.  Mothers without a day of education know that.  Bite your brother and he'll bite you back.  If he refuses, I will bite you back.  Guarantee you won't bite anyone again you little brat and if you do, I'll continue biting you hard until you learn to keep your fangs to yourself.  That's how mothers deal with it.  The Law pretends it knows better

Ok. Fine.  Then judges and their families should be forced to house all those offenders they're so keen to let out on parole.  The law would change damn fast then

Don't have a link, sorry Aussie

Read it about twenty years ago.  It used to be online.  Maybe it still is in some dark corner, but I haven't been able to find it recently

It was a scholarly article resultant from a two decade study conducted in the UK.  The researchers announced that rehabilitation -- which had been a very costly exercise -- was no effective.  The researchers said their studies had exposed that rehabilitation was basically a waste of time and money despite all the hoohah

The researchers said their studies had shown conclusively that the only deterent lay in offenders fear of the punishment they'd receive if their crimes were discovered.  In other words, personal pain (prison, deprivation of liberty, etc.) was the only thing preventing offenders from offending again

The researchers said they were very disappointed to have to make the announcement

well we dont take the law into our own hands...

and to be honest I am in favor of that....
the world is violent enough without adding more.

what we are doing though  isnt working.... jail doesnt frighten anyone today....no such thing has hard labour anymore....why would they be afraid... the sentence may get longer...in some cases but the time spent in there doesnt?...

they are given all sorts of protection when are they are allowed out.....they are not even shamed........

little William Tyrrell... was he taken by some sex fiend??....someone took him   he didnt go by himself....

we have to make the consequences harder for them to bare.... at least 25 years in goal   no early parole...nothing to look forward too...but bleak.

The only thing keeping me going when my children were growing up was to assure the universe that should anyone dare to harm them, I would turn into the monster from hell and wreak vengeance

Fortunately I didn't have to follow through

For the most of mankind's history however, people were compelled to be their own police, their own law.  And for the most part, they did it very well and were far more effective that what passes for policing and law today

In the UK, it's reported that police catch less than one in ten offenders.  So not working too well, is it

Who would blame police?  If they do manage to catch the offender, they're hamstrung by 'law' at every turn

Sentences are extremely lenient in comparison to the crimes. Reoffenders are common

People say and many believe that the law sides with the criminals.  Police must feel likewise and seeing their hard work undone every day by judges who seem to be the debil in many instance serve only to demoralise and demotivate police and put fear into the hearts of the public

Vigilantism needs to make a big comeback in my opinion.  Shake this stupid system to the core

Those opposed to vigilantism cry that innocents may suffer and die and out they come with 'better to let ten men go free than punish an innocent '.  Doubt that's going to keep the lid on much longer

Sure, innocents may die as result of vigilantism.  But innocents are dying anyway.  We're all going to die anyway.  So in my view, whilst accepting that some innocents may be unjustly harmed by vigilantism, the risk is worth it if it means nine beasts are dealt with conclusively

Wars will not be fought on the ground in the future.  Millions of innocents will die.  Not only that, if nukes start flying around, society will collapse overnight.  There will be no power, no lights, no energy and no police.  Entire armies would not be able to control the lawlessness for even 24 hours.  It will be dog eats dog in every street and town.  In an instant, it will be back to the jungle time.  Doors kicked down, families slaughtered.  Roaming gangs of human animals having a ball.  Without end

There will be no room for niceties, no escape.  Every man, woman and child for themselves.  And they'd better have a weapon and a lot of luck to last a week

Right now, there's a war going on but it's low key.  People still believe the police are at the end of their phone.  We're living in a fool's paradise that could shatter in an instant

Telling an offender that you're a nice and good person won't cut much ice.  They don't care.  Nice people are easiest to subdue, rob, rape, kill.  And religion has watched billions die in agony, time and time again

Funny how vigilantism solves so many problems for the 'elite'.  Guy supposedly shot  JFK.  Then just as fast, a vigilante killed teh alleged killer.  But don't try that at home folks ....
