That Ol' Special Relationship

When Obama was president he had the Churchill bust moved from inside the Oval Office to outside the door to the Oval Office, where, according to him, he saw it first thing every day when he entered.

For eight years *conservative* snowflakes cried like little babies how Obama destroyed the "special relationship" between the UK and the US by this single move.

Now that Trump has treated the UK and its leader in a manner that is nothing short of despicable, what do we hear? Crickets.

Most Americans dont really think too much about anything outside their own borders.

He had to get rid of Martin Luther-King. You see? Successful policy achievements, all of them.

i think Mr Trump (and also all correct thinking people of the noble right) see the UK as a 'cautionary tale".

from a nation which once ruled the waves and whose redcoats were feared and revered throughout the world, it has become a nation of chodes who gave that all up for free dentures from the NHS and the "timid approach to life".

when a noble stallion looks across to an adjoining paddock and sees nothing but weeds and mayhem and sad flea bitten geldings, it makes him more determined to look after his herd and not let them make the mistakes that others have made.

Now this left her in a right state. By the 60s, her colonial export markets had gone. The oil shocks of the 70s hit her hard. Mother was left with no other option than to fully embrace the EU. Now?

She's in a right state again. There there, dear. Maybe she can put her feet up and have a nice cup of tea.

That is a shallow judgement of the man - one I also did share.

Several years ago I saw the then now President talking to a group of people about business achievement. It changed my opinion. He was really brilliant. He empathized with them and was truly empowering.

President Trump is gifted as someone with the common touch and able to affect change to benefit all. An extraordinary individual - make no mistake!
