Mr Trump would have great difficulty dealing with the UK.
i think Mr Trump (and also all correct thinking people of the noble right) see the UK as a 'cautionary tale".

from a nation which once ruled the waves and whose redcoats were feared and revered throughout the world, it has become a nation of chodes who gave that all up for free dentures from the NHS and the "timid approach to life".

when a noble stallion looks across to an adjoining paddock and sees nothing but weeds and mayhem and sad flea bitten geldings, it makes him more determined to look after his herd and not let them make the mistakes that others have made.

god speed Noble Stallion

Gave it up? The American Revolution and every post-WII independence movement in every British colony would suggest otherwise, dear. Mother England was kicked out.

Now this left her in a right state. By the 60s, her colonial export markets had gone. The oil shocks of the 70s hit her hard. Mother was left with no other option than to fully embrace the EU. Now?

She's in a right state again. There there, dear. Maybe she can put her feet up and have a nice cup of tea.

I don't think so. Britain's physical presence has gone but her influence is still in the colonies.

Britain is and has always been a major World player.

Threadneedle Street is the center of World finance and   international law.

Isn't that what you mean by globalism?

Other than Australia, the US has no better ally that the UK. Trump personally doesn't need friends but he will find that things are different in the real world ...

"Real World"?

Countries don't have friends they shared mutual interests.

President Trump will continue to make you look foolish until you stop underestimating the man.
