It is worth a read. There is a fair bit of maths on display including a couple of PDEs, but at least they provide the solutions. The data sets show a consistent relationship between the foreign aid targets and the qty of exports to each target. Improving the economic lives of the recipients has a larger impact on them then it would have on us due to the large disparity in purchasing power. Of course, with new found improvements to their bottom line they have more disposable income to spend.

The ol' Baron is bordering on dementia. It has already been explained enough times. We receive a 710% return on our aid budget in exports alone. A large chunk of these in agriculture. Baron wants to cut the farmers' sales and replace them with $20 notes from the tax payer. Any more bright ideas.
