In extreme cases it's needed.

PS.  notice no one complained when the Bali bombers were executed.

Plenty of people complained.

I didn't hear a single complaint.

Quote:
The 2002 Bali bombings occurred on 12 October 2002 in the tourist district of Kuta on the Indonesian island of Bali. The attack killed 202 people (including 88 Australians, 38 Indonesians, and people of more than 20 other nationalities). A further 209 people were injured.

There were thousands of people protesting in the streets.

And millions more silently cheering.

I was one of them.

Good riddance, but they should also eliminate the whole gene pool of these murderers.
That way it would make them think twice, knowing that their whole family were forfeit.

are you referring to Bali Bombers   or the Bali 9....

Some people have no right to live.
They forfeit their lives by any one of a number of crimes
Murderers did not care about the person they murdered
Pedophiles care nothing for the children who's lives they destroy
Drug dealers care only about what they can get, not about the lives they destroy.
Politicians, just for taking breath, they lie and destroy lives in pursuit of power and money.

I have no issue in eradicating these insects
No more than I do squishing a cockroach.

They prey on those who do the right thing or innocent people.

Time for the people to bite Back.

DEATH PENALTY
DOES NOT WORK!

Nations that have it are extremely high on the statistic of all-round violence. Chances are - 'your' murderer will be executed, but you won't be around to see it ...basically.

If someone 'murders' another.
You do not 'execute' them (by State).

They should all be sent to Australia, like all the rest of the world's criminals have. There, they are 'imprisoned' and subjected to being 'ripped off', 'assaulted', 'treated like turd', money taken and spent on overseas holidays and relief packages.

Australians are Criminals: Murderers, Thieves, Rapists, Child Abusers
...make them 'pay' (for Indonesian Hand-outs  Grin) - put em too work!!! Angry

No.

Riot police were called in.

In your head - it happened -
take your meds.

You were saying?

"Jakarta, Indonesia: Indonesian security forces have been put on high alert for possible backlashes following the execution of three Islamic militants on Saturday.

"They were executed for the 2002 Bali bombings. Thousands of supporters had spilled into the streets protesting the execution."

Bali bombers' execution sparks off protest clashes

Greggy,
Terrorists protesting doesn't count - you fool.

Quote:
The protesters regarded the bombers as heroes and not mass murderers because of their proclaimed Jihad against the enemies of Islam.

"notice no one complained when the Bali bombers were executed."

You were wrong, again.

Thousands protested.

The silent majority of millions

CHEERED

But the politically correct pretended to be offended

I'll bet many of them CHEERED as well, just too afraid of the PC bullies to voice it aloud.

Many, many paedophiles, murderers, thieves, and rapists leave their cushy gaol cells to re-offend,

How many executed offenders re-offend?

How can you say it does not work.

Show me one case, from anywhere in the world , where an executed offender re-offends.

Sounds effective to me.

The standard argument against capital punishment is that is not a deterrent, but that is not the point. Capital punishment is not a punishment either. It is a matter of removing offenders from society, permanently. Like taking the garbage out, and burying it in landfill. Oh how lacking in compassion!!! Cry
