The current Environment Minister's so lazy she's not even read the whole report before giving opinions on it.
Poor bammy.
The IPCC released the report 8 October 2018, Monday.
The Technical Report plus the Summary for Policymakers is 1187 pages in length.
You would have trouble reading 300 pages of comics in that time, let alone technical papers.
Maybe by the time you grow up you may have a few brain cells.
http://www.ipcc.ch/report/sr15/But of course there is a lot in the media. Quoting average global temperatures. Most of the warming is in the Northern hemisphere, at mid latitudes.
CO2 is supposed to warm the mid-latitudes more than the tropics. The GBR is basically a tropical reef. But it is the average temperature which is gunna do it.
And of course those "projections".
" The climate system is a coupled non-linear chaotic system, and therefore the long-term prediction of future climate states is not possible."
https://www.ipcc.ch/ipccreports/tar/wg1/501.htmSo how far into the future are those "projections" again?
