CO2 is supposed to warm the mid-latitudes more than the tropics. The GBR is basically a tropical reef. But it is the average temperature which is gunna do it.

And of course those "projections".

So how far into the future are those "projections" again?

This is an Environment Minister who's tainted by VE$TED INTERE$T$. She's got no interest in protecting the environment. None at all. She's only interested in seeing what bits of the environment she can bulldoze to get to the minerals the lie beneath.

This Environment Minister is so incompetent that she thinks trees are BUILT. Grin

I had a laugh at the 18,000 jobs.... no sawmills left here to speak of and 18,000 REAL jobs in forestry - don't make me laugh .......... it's all Nu Zulland or South America now... we import all our finished timber products from the 'global economy' at double price..... and daily I see the heart-wrenching vision of truck-loads of logs headed for the wood chip mills instead of sawmills for boards and timbers for housing etc... all cheap pine now... or top price...

Sawmill here still operates but only turns out two products now... this whole house was built from ironbark milled there since the guy owned the mill... in Eden the sawmill manager said he'd be out of a job in three years - about now... and they'd reduced from a wide range of products to a couple, too... once you could go there and order in advance according to their milling schedule all sizes of timber... then it all collapsed to a few narrow range sizes.

Was building house at the time the sawmills went - couldn't even access lining board for ages, and the price doubled since it was all now imported.... thanks for nothing, Libs....
