Doctor Sleep is a violent follow up to The Shining. So, if you cannot handle The Shining, you won't be able to handle Doctor Sleep.

The trailer did not do the movie much favour. If you like movies like "Rush", this movie should be just as good for your tastes. The final 20 minutes is quite good, even if it is a little bit of a tear-jerker.

The Irishman

Quite a long movie at 3:20 odd, but kept me involved all the way.

Makes one re-ponder the possibilities about the assassination of JFK. Huh

Gangster movie par excellence. Beautifully shot. Crisp editing.

Yeah, I watched this the other night.

I enjoyed it, but it wasn't what I'd consider a classic.

Good performances by everyone.

I laughed out loud at the scene about the frozen fish on the back seat of the car.

"What sort of fish?"

"I dunno".

"Where did you buy it?"

"From a fish shop".

"What fish shop?"

etc.

Reminded me of Tarantino.

Good movie, worth a look, but not a "must see" in my book.

I give it seven fishes out of ten.
