As you pointed out yesterday, Cods, the thread started to derail when Aussie threw mud at AA for substance abuse 35 years ago. I've been posting on-topic links trying to bring the thread back as drug education and reform is something I'm very interested in.

By all accounts, apart from his younger days, AA seem actually rather boring. He curbed his substance abuse 35 years ago, 9 years before his boy was born. That Aussie would smear him and link the behavour of his ancient past suggest to me there are some unresolved substance abuse issues in his own life.

angry did charity runs as well...I remember a show on TV where he helped all sort of folks around the country.....I dont know him from a bar of soap only what I have read......and rock bands did all sorts of stuff and still do from what I read... that doesn mean they are responsible for the worst things that can happen to their family......this is angrys youngest child...to point the finger at him is despicable...

I have no idea what he's like. Having worked in the media and met MANY celebs, you can never accurately judge their real personality from their on-screen persona.

The issue is tho, drug use is right through all stratum of society. I know houso kids with pot smoking heavy drinking parents who won't touch drink or drugs. I also know same who ended up like their parents.

I also know highly educated straighty 180 people with kids who are right into the party drugs.

Aussie is just an ignorant old turd who is so desperately out of touch on this issue. Let's just all ignore the Bundy Rum imbued old toad.

I don't drink spirits Big Mouth Shallow Pockets. I have never taken drugs in my life, and will not. I spent 33 years in Law with significant exposure to drug offenders etc so I know far more about it than you ever will, you little half smart idiot. You'll have to try for another false smear, maybe try your usual racist bigotry 'house pet' type of crap. Or you could just far cough.

It is a fact admitted by AA that he was a boozing drug fuq for many many years. That the alleged murderer was on drugs at the time has been alleged even though we really have no idea. It has since become known that, likely the deceased was also part of the drug fuqed culture. Why pretend that drugs are not the huge elephant in the room here?

Yeah it is. It's my personal opinion that experimenting with drugs to alter our perception is part of the human condition and possibly played a big part in our evolution. There are theories our very distant ancestors consumed psilocybin mushrooms which may have accelerated language and creative thinking. And then there's Moses and the burning bush...hello...acacia tree/DMT!!

Just watch a bunch of 4 year olds spin around until they're dizzy and get off on the altered perception.

In my perfect (and brave new) world, pharmaceutical companies would develop perfect and safe drugs that could get you any type of high you're after and have a built in antidote to switch it off at specific time.

But in the real world, bush grown cannabis would be legal, indoor hydro would be strictly controlled but legal and people operating clandestine drug labs would be executed. I think that covers it.

I represented a person (well, many in fact) charged with sexual assault, (and many charged with rape) and in the case you seem not able to get off your pissant mind, the man was found to be totally innocent, after a full witness box confession from his accuser.
