Medieval disease on the rise in remote communities

Wasn't long ago that HIV/AIDS was ravaging remote Aboriginal communities but now it's an ancient scourge that had previously been well under control .... Syphilis.

https://www.news.com.au/lifestyle/health/health-problems/how-this-medieval-disea...

Biggest problem being unsafe/unprotected sex.

All wanna ride bareback ey brudda.

That's ok. They have an easy cure for Syphillis.
The Hawaiins just use the spear - which Capt James Cook found out when they speared him for going crazy in the head due to the Syph.

In ancient South America, those big Temples with Hospitals: where the great crops of mind altering plants that eat away at the brain. Any of the populace showing signs of schizophrenia were taken up to the top of those Hospitals (not really religious Temples) and they gave praise to the big voice in the head above and removed your head from your body and madness. There - you were cured.

The early stages of syphilitic dementia is also responsible for some very interesting works of art music and literature.

Stay tuned for some really creative aboriginal art.

Oh wow. The new guy just let sling a beauty.

There's 'stupidity' art (art done by mentally deficient people through substance abuse... you know, the stuff that rots the brain) and there is smart Art.

Ironically, European Art uses stupid meaningless, abstract North American Art to make itself look smarter. But European Art is... old.
Hence why the world looks towards Australia as the new 'Smart' Art (because Politics is getting dumber here).
