Crazy Christian Propaganda
Jan 13th, 2019 at 11:03pm

I'm a bit disgusted with Christianity now using Science to support its Religion.
Here's a clip about how Christians are exploiting Science and twisting it to support its myths and stories.

So now 'Science' is a tool of Christianity to continue and justify it's religion.

Yep - evolution is an invention of God.  Wink
It's been like that since it was written in the new and revised edition of the Bible.

An oxymoron would be if the title was "sane christian" or "christian truth"

No amount of logic, math, or physics will ever convince creationists of anything. That is not how their minds work. Whatever they believe, it has to support a foregone conclusion, and consequently, they are always prepared to shift the goal post if they don't like the view.

Clever way of putting it.

Creationism? Well, I think 'both' are right. Evolution AND Creationism work together. It's like the birth of a child and its evolution of growth as a person in the world.

Stage 1: Growth in the Womb
Stage 2: Growth in the World
Stage 3: Growth in the Garden

NOW DO YOU SEE?

The variation of transcendence is in Stage 3: When we are reborn in the 'creation' that we have 'made' while we were in Stage 2, rather than just end up in 'the Garden'  Wink

Nah, sorry. "Biblical" Creationism and Evolution are mutually exclusive concepts.

Whenever I write something about these subjects, I feel I have to preface it by saying I am not an Atheist, Agnostic, or God proponent. There is no necessity in life, to form an allegiance with any of those views.

They are three perceptions about which no one should give rat's ass. For one thing, they were imposed a long time ago, by religionists so they could decide for you, what you believe.

When we speak of Creationism, we tend to refer to Christian Creationism. That's religiously chauvinistic. Why not include the creation myths of the cannibals of Melanesia? Their concept cannot be shown any less likely.

Creationism concerns itself with origins, so where does creationism begin? It starts with primitive tribes, and the charlatanism of the few who realised the use of claimed secret-knowledge. Thus, Abraham bamboozled his tribe with charisma, and then confirmed his authority with statements about his relationship with God. After that, he needed to be able to explain everything.

I suspect this situation came up in almost every tribe of humanity. The creation myths are essentially the same, and they come from a time when humanity did not have anything to go on, about their origins. Just look what you can do with ignorance, in this information age.

Speaking of religious stupidity ... this scientist* reckons the Earth is indeed only 6,000 years old as is implied from the Bible.

"There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy."

Hamlet, William Shakespeare

Yet some persons choose to sit and to curse the darkness.    ....rather than to give credence to 'dreamers' and to entertain 'imaginings'.

Eh, issue ?

issue,

As an aside.

Are you willing to concede,         that almost every piece of 'tech' that man has 'created' in the 'modern' world,
has emerged from the dreams and the imaginings, of particular 'peculiar' men  ?       Smiley

But it is certainly good, and creditably 'sensible', to ridicule those persons among us, who are 'dreamers'.

Right ?

issue,

If you know what that word means, you would have to acknowledge that almost every man and woman, is a chauvinistic creature, 'by nature'.
[i.e. every one of us has, and expresses, our own 'prejudices'.]

"excessive or prejudiced support or loyalty for one’s own cause, group, or sex."

I must confess, it is clear that those who have come to love God, also have a 'chauvinistic' bent.

Well issue,       you      have chosen not to accept those particular creation myths.

Haven't you ?

Q.
So can you answer,       What would move a Christian, to accept the creation myth of another religion or culture ?

Duh ?

How intolerant of the Christian!

Good question.

And it is a good thing, that many men, are prepared to openly ask such questions.

Isn't it ?

.

All men dream, but not equally.
Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes to make it possible.
