Funny thing - my nephew (one of) had an Aboriginal father - he's a fine man with a family, a beautiful blonde wife, a home and two kids... one niece has an Aboriginal father, and she's a lesbian, and she has ADHD, so they say .. I say she had her mother's upbringing, but oh, well...

Neither of them demands anything for nothing.... they get on with it....

Another point - if the 'protestors' recognise it as some sort of invasion day, obviously it is a recognisable day (worthy of celebration for what it is).... even their opposition shows that.....

Why doesn't England celebrate the day they were invaded by the Romans and became civilized....Once you answer that you can understand why Aboriginal people do not want to celebrate the invasion of the British....Why would Aboriginal people celebrate having their land taken by foreigners???
