I don't expect them to follow it. Nor do I suggest they follow the other suggestion (federation date). That's why they have their own week which I'm excluded from. It's just a historical fact which is controversial because it's the day when this landmass changed and now supports us. Surely that's worth celebrating. Aboriginal history hasn't done that for you, has it? Go sit on your lounge with a plate of prawns, a can of beer and ponder that.
