The Revolution!!!
Feb 5th, 2019 at 5:58pm

It's hitting world news like crazy: Australia's empowerment of Banks (considered untouchable in other nations around the world) being brought down by a 'Royal' (British) Commission (...because Australia is NOT a nation of Royalty itself).
4-5 Major Banks have been found wanting and heads are rolling.

Because of this - we are see an incredible 'financial' turnaround in Australia almost overnight!  Shocked
Anything and everything is becoming CHEAPER!!!!
Prices are crashing everywhere... here in the most expensive part of the world! Right now - Coles/Woolworths are set to slash prices considerably. That roasted Chicken will go back to just $5!

Something else is also happening. Sydney is getting CCTV's put everywhere prolifically around the city and there are much more to come - far more! Now, everything will be evidenced and the Courts will be processed faster (and less Court costs). Anyone wanting to publically commit crime 'will be caught' on so many levels.

Even in Sport - things are becoming hardlined in punishment with male Sport scandals, incidents, crimes, etc. With last nights showing Doco of the UNDER-ARM DELIVERY (Aust v NZ) it showed how more 'PROFESSIONAL' at sports that the Kiwi's are than us Australians, even when they lose.

It's like a wind of change has blown across our Society.
Is it because of Donald Trump? Sure the Media hates him, but for some reason its like the World is 'turning for the better'.
Donald 'TITAN' Trump?
Apt name for someone always 'belittled' by the TV Media for not living up to 'their' standards.  Roll Eyes

Even the New England PATRIOTS have won the Superbowl again. Is Donald Trump the most PATRIOTIC PRESIDENT EVER? He certainly tells Mexicans where to go. He makes 'Peace' with China, who is now making enemies of Russia - who now is needing 'nukes' real quick... as Europe is putting it to Russia "Are you with us or against us??" on the other side.

Can you feel it in the air?
I can feel it in the water!

There will be WAR. But at least now - there is 'Hope' that we will survive it!

The share price of the major banks is going back up rapidly since yesterday morning, leading a general stock price recovery.

people are always calling for a revolution.

what the human mind fails to percieve is just how many things are going "right".

running water is a miracle.
electricity to your outlets is a miracle.
a car that starts every morning is a miracle.

but we quickly lose gratitude for these things and only notice when the power is off or the car wont start.
we basically ignore everything that is going right.

its a big mistake.

a revolution would destroy most of those things.

people would not cope.

market capitalism is the shiiit and dont forget it.
its a bloody miracle.

that when the power is out a couple of blokes with a bad back and a crook knee will go out and restore it within a couple of hours is a miracle.

but people will still bitch and moan about it.

our level of ingratitude blinds us

After wading through Jasin's tortured syntax, you will find no actual evidence of a revolution. Just wobbly opinions. As for "feeling it in the water," that could be a bladder infection.

unfortunately modern society meets the comfort needs of people very well but it doesnt meet their emotional needs and existential needs well at all.

the cultural hypnosis  tells people that that next car or watch or dream job will fulfil them but it doesnt and they are always left wanting.

a lot go into the durr state and just go into "just coping and existing"
thats 80 % of the population.

i actually see people on this forum as a bit above that.
they know things arent quite right and they are searching for more meaning.

the trouble is, that more meaning doesnt mean that the whole system is broke and needs to be rebuilt (the marxist revolutionary way).
what it means is that you have to go on a personal journey to discover the meaning FOR YOURSELF.

the government and society are not holding you back in any way from going on that journey.

only your own self sabotage and limiting beliefs are.

but its sooo hard to change.

people love their pain and will seek it out
they love their emotional state.

i wont name names but several posters here just love posting every stroy they can find about domestic violence, natural disasters, murder, rape, mayhem, pain, misery....tjhey are addicted to that stuff.

they should get themselves addicted on better things

heres a place to start

In light of the RC findings why do you think that happened?

Seems to me the RC was a waste of money ... banks slapped with a wet lettuce ....

and in no time it's back to business as usual.

Bank executives should be facing criminal charges.

Long overdue - now let me read it....

Read it.. well - let's wait a while for results... including on the banking thing... all that might happen is that the banks will become more cunning.... when what is needed is a major overhaul of their way of doing business.. a process that also includes many other kinds of business these days...

Some need to be prosecuted for setting in place criminal processes... a few show trials with a framework for charges that permits no way out....

Yes Guys,
the Banks were hit hard with a wet lettuce leaf - that's all.

I wanted to hear the names of people who committed the criminal acts -
and what they should be charged with.

Looks like it's business as usual.

Shareholders decided the outcome was slightly better than what they expected. Bank shares have been down for a while awaiting this outcome.
