Teacher charged with common assault

I remember a story about a cab driver who shoved a kid against a tree and gave him a gob full.

I wonder why the cabbie wasn't charged with common assault.
Do taxi drivers have a license to pin?

A Sydney court has heard how a primary school teacher allegedly pushed an eight-year-old student against a wall and told him to "f--- off".

I sure did, not a child, but a High School student...marched back a yard or so to a nearby tree, given a gob full, and released. I'd do the same every day of the week in the same circumstances.

"Spookily similar." In what way? There was an eight-year old Primary School male who had a female finger on his chest. On the other hand, there was a High School student who assaulted me with a missile, damaged my property who had my paw firmly on his chest, marched a short distance back to a nearby tree, given a bob full and released.

(Edit: In the first case, the parties had history and knew each other. In the latter, I did not know who the punk was, and I doubt he knew who I was...total strangers. No history. "Spookily similar," my arse.)
