This one is pretty old. I'm pretty sure everyone has heard about these theories by now. They even made movies about it.

Have you ever taken an objective look at what these conspiracy theories offer?

You can find references to the Illuminati just by googling things like "shadow government" or "secret societies".

In fact, that is pretty much all you will find if you look for these things.

A lot of effort has gone in to making this information available. There are literally thousands of pages on the internet expanding on the same thing.

If you dissect these conspiracy theories, and look at it objectively you will realise you will find these types of pages when looking for what is essentially secret government information.

So when looking for information on secret government information you will find the Illuminati conspiracy theories.

Let's have a look at some of the families listed as Illuminati families.

One name that appears is DUPONT. DuPont is a company that manufactures military equipment such as Kevlar. So you want to research secret government, and you start learning the government is bulletproof.

You find things like this.

You then find that the Illuminati is US Army Special Forces at one level.

You then find that they are evil people who do child sacrifice and you must oppose them.

You then find that they are EVIL JEWISH BANKERS.

So hold on, let's say you have started researching this conspiracy theory, and have been persuaded by it.

You are now fighting the bulletproof US Army and evil Jews. If you have adopted this theory, agreed with the statements that the Illuminati is evil, you are now reminiscent of an Islamic extremist! You are against the evil satanic US Army and the evil Jews!

What happened here? You were exposed to propaganda designed to to this to you. You're not going to say drinking the blood of 11 year old virgins is good, and these websites say the Illuminati do things like this. So naturally if it is well written and interesting and you try and understand it, you are going to appear as an Islamic extremist if you adopt this philosophy, even if mildly, such as thinking there is a hidden hand behind world events.

Now if you dig deeper in to the theory, you will discover the Illuminati is in control of the entertainment industry and they put hidden references such as butterflies and hand signals in to music videos.

Think about this. This is entirely plausible. Say for example you work for the CIA. Say you are based overseas. Say the CIA wants to target social mindsets on Japan hosting the Olympics. Say there IS a secret code in a music video communicating this change of orders. That would be undetectable, you could stay in your host country and have communicated with no one. Yet you are now looking for information from the electorate on opinions regarding Japan going to be in the international spotlight.

So they could do this.

However, we are not talking about the CIA, we are talking about some thing called the Illuminati, and these alleged secret codes are actually secret handshakes.

Okay.

So you started looking for a hidden hand behind the government. Now you're fighting the US Army and the evil Jews.

And now there are hidden messages in the music.

Do you know what would happen if you spoke of this to a medical professional? They would say you are crazy. Hidden messages in everyday occurrences are what crazy people talk about. They would treat you for being a whack job.

So let's recap.

You were looking for government information. Now you're fighting the army, fighting the Jews and are officially a lunatic.

This is just because you wanted a look inside.

So what is this Illuminati conspiracy?

Is it a government counter intelligence program?

Decades ago the FBI had a counter intelligence program called COINTELPRO and the CIA had something called MKULTRA. Both of them specifically looked for ways to discredit and destroy political opponents, including through the use of the psychiatric system.

Is it likely that the Illuminati theory is a continuation of this? Extremely so.

You will end up in public raging against the Army, the Jews and showing textbook symptoms of mental illness.

And this is because you "spied" on the government.

You just got swept up in the net.

First they want to show you their brutality, then they want to ruin your reputation.

This has to be what the Illuminati stuff is. A counter intelligence program. There is too much invested in it, and believers are coerced in to fitting the framework of being as Islamic radical. This is very lazy and shows contempt for humanity. It manipulates you in to fitting a guideline.

This is really horrible stuff. This is what the government does. I didn't vote for this.

Does just using the word invoke a knowledge and understanding of complex terms in the majority so therefore there is nothing to discuss because everyone is familiar with it?

Maybe read what I wrote. It doesn't discuss the Illuminati.
