I don't think Australia has got anything to do with it in this particular instance PZ.
It's just a case of some forked tongue leftard apologist for islamic atrocities, trying to excuse the islamic ingrained oppression of women.
You're right. I apologise. Confused this thread with 'Whip Em', although in this thread there's still outrage from some quarters about the muslim couples who were whipped
I don't enjoy the fact they were publicly whipped any more than anyone else. I don't like the fact Chinese burn the hair from dogs with blowtorches. If I could prevent these things, I would. If I were earnest enough, I'd catch a plane and leap in front of the dogs and whipped couples. But I'm a coward and know my limitations
It's not long ago that today's progressive societies were casting women out into the snow because they gave birth to babes with a different hair colour to their fathers
people were locked in stocks and pelted with garbage and worse for minor infringments but mainly for public entertainment and as a way of distracting people from the true source of their woes -- governments and rulers
The rule of thumb was preached from the pulpit, encourageing even ordering men to whip their wives once a week
Go back to the ancient Greeks for more foul misogyny
The whipping will have to stop as will the asian addiction to sadism and it will stop now the world's growing smaller and people more aware
There are little girls right here in Australia, boys too, who will never have the opportunities to reach even half of their potential due to poverty, stupidity on the part of society and parents and because of adult vices such as gambling, drink and drug addictions, but it's more dramatic to focus on middle eastern women and the deprivations they suffer
