I use FB the same way but the WORLD would be better off without it, not necessarily me or you. I can't be bothered with Twitter. Instagram (IG) is visual and I enjoy posting and looking at photos there. That being said, I have a business that uses both FB and IG and it is a quite effective marketing tool.

My daughter uses IG...all kids do.
Some of her friends are already doing the bum out selfies but she uses it for homework. They all chat about the fastest way to get their work for the evening done.

She is also on a surf chat group where they post when they're going for a surf and others join in.

So once again, it's the user not the platform .

I have a 1950's rotary phone in my office just for show (but it could work as the insides have been refurbished) and kids are amazed by it - the literally don't know how it works.

Imagine them having to navigate an old A/B button public phone

Looks like the cyber terrorists are practicing for a major attack.

Yeah I was reading a tech article that said they deny its a DDOS attack but it is actually a BGP route leak (different kind of attack most prolly).

I dont care about facebook but i think this is shaping up to be something very big in the personal data world.
