That was exactly as intended Hammer. Be as outrageous as is humanly possible.

The guy got 18 votes. He has a lot of ground to make. So many racists to court...

So you're a mind reader now?

Not really. You've fallen into the trap of thinking free speech has no consequences.

are you horrified seeing stoning in public by an chance..or do you think its justified?

this was our version of a public stoning...

I found it horrible....

You are drawing a long bow there. He made a dumb ass racist comment. As a MP he should be held to a higher standard.

What Anning said was probably correct. Where Islam goes it does bring baggage . And that violence leads to other problems like revenge acts. It's a fact and is happening in other places around the world. My problem is the timing. That's the issue. It wasn't the right time to make comments like that. It was disrespectful to the dead.

At least we agree on something. I don't agree that Islam is an issue to the extent some do. The timing is poor plus his optics of being seen with Aussie neo Nazis like Blair Cottrell is a concern as well.

Qantas has expelled Fraser Anning from its exclusive Chairman's Lounge club in the wake of yesterday's dramatic censure motion in the Senate.

The plush waiting room, reserved for the top ranks of politics and business, is invite-only. Membership is often offered to members of parliament.

But Qantas decided to review Anning's access after his comments on the Christchurch terror attack. Now he has been kicked out.

News.com.au has contacted Anning for comment.

The Chairman's Lounge offers the highest level of service possible for a Qantas customer, eclipsing the airline's Platinum One membership. Qantas CEO Alan Joyce once described it as "probably the most exclusive club in the country".

It is not even possible to buy a membership.

Details of the club's features and perks are largely kept secret, though we know they include seat upgrades and unlimited food and alcohol.

What do you expect from that little Irish bit?

And you support this bullying and intimidation?

Shame on you.

It's his Lounge to do what he pleases with.  I'd never host a prick like Anning.  Would you?

Yes, but that would be unfair, as Gonads shows.

Fraser Anning, as an Australian Senator, deserves full access to all exclusive lounges and classes.

Why should he be forced to sit in the airport and Economy like every other prole?

Banning him from the VIP lounge? So unfair.

Have you ever been allowed in, Bias?

I'm not Bias.

And yes I've been in the Qantas lounge.

I would expect I had to have done something detrimental to Qantas property or its brand.....

Not just voice an opinion .... correct or not.

That's right. Some of Fraser's best friends are Muslims.

And remember, Muslims are not a race.

But you think they are... no?

I don't know what Anning said, but I found these two paragraphs on internet media sites:

1: “The real cause of bloodshed on New Zealand streets today is the immigration program which allowed Muslim fanatics to migrate to New Zealand in the first place.”

2: An Australian senator proved that some far-right ideologues’ justifications can sound harrowingly similar when Muslims are the victims. Muslims, said Fraser Anning, a far-right independent senator from Queensland, “may have been the victims today; usually they are the perpetrators.”

In the first paragraph, I think he's right to some extent, although you cannot blame policy on its own. It is also the broader Sensitive New-Age Progressives' assumption all cultures can co-exist peacefully. It was a nice idea during Flower Power, but then Muzlums started getting pissed off about the forces of Western Liberalisation.

The second paragraph is not hate-speech, it's a statement of fact.

If the Progressive Leftist Humanists are really surprised by the Christchurch massacre, then they are more naive than I thought. Twenty years of Muzlum atrocities and they thought there would never be retaliation? This is how wars start.

He's not hosting... Anning pays for the privilege.

And I repeat the question.

Found it - it was at the beginning of his press release, rather pathetic excuse for what he said following it. The statement was as hollow as it could be.

i)  Told yez....

ii)  Only in the eyes of those who choose to see it that way.  As issuevoter said - it is a simple statement of fact.

I think some of the hysteria could slow down a bit, and take stock of what is actually being said.

You're all doing what Tarrant wanted and wants - you're turning on one another and signaling to the radical Muslims that we are weak and divided, instead of standing together and saying - as Anning did - that all reasonable people reject the actions of this zealot, but that it was inevitable at some time.

Would you all have the same hostility going if it happened in the US or Britain?

Before any of you start on me again - I said from the start that the NZ Muslim society seemed a peaceful lot, and I constantly refer to the victims as 'innocent Muslims', and I've called for fifty consecutive sentences of life for fifty murders ...... but I still agree that such a vile act was inevitable given world events for many years now.

Sad that the planet has come to this.... but that's life's way of telling you that you are still alive ...
