It takes someone really special to blame the victims of such an atrocity.

You're a complete tosser......

He did no such thing.

You're part of the problem.

Even you are seldom this wrong.

Quote:
“The real cause of bloodshed on New Zealand streets today is the immigration program which allowed Muslim fanatics to migrate to New Zealand in the first place,” Anning said. “Let us be clear, while Muslims may have been the victims today, usually they are the perpetrators.”

Anning also issued a number of tweets on the subject, including one in which he asked whether people still disputed “the link between Muslim immigration and violence”.

https://junkee.com/fraser-anning-christchurch/198042

He didn't blame the victims he blamed govt and the migration policy.

And you're still part of the problem.

You seem to have an issue with comprehension of the English language.

He blamed the Government for not keeping a religious ethnic group out of the country.

i.e. it wouldn't have happened if Muslims were not allowed in NZ, the expectation is that the government should support his own racist religious hatred.

He has on the day refereed to them as religious fanatics when there is no indication that anyone killed was a fanatic. No it was just an insult.

he asked whether people still disputed “the link between Muslim immigration and violence”.

You understand this bit that he said ? These people were only murdered by an Australian fanatical nutter because they were allowed into the country, its the governments fault for allowing people in that should be banned ?

Many of these people may have been born in NZ are are more NZ citizens that You are likely Australian.

Anning seems to have allocated blame everywhere except where it belongs. The man is a disgrace.

From Memory those comments were widely criticised by all.

and I don't believe any petition should be used to make that sort of decision.

He cannot be 'banned' or removed except via an election, the one in May.  That 'censure' thing was just political posturing.....appropriate I hasten to say....but otherwise of zero impact.

Quote:
Actually, I think he can, Aussie. The senate isn't representative. It's a House of Lords, presided over by the parties, not the Queen. Senators serve at the whim of the parties (or independents) with the most votes.

Hence, the ALP was able to sack Sam Dastyari for not towing the party line.

They threw him out of the ALP.  They did not throw him out of the Senate.

Quote:
Fair enough too.

Your old party, the Palmer United Party, would have been perfectly within their rights to sack Jaqui Lambie when she quit the party. The reason they didn't, I believe, is Palmer didn't have the votes in his party, which by their own rules, required a vote by the majority of parliamentarians.

In PUP, Palmer was God, and did what he liked.  There was no structure of any substance.  It was all smoke and mirrors.

Quote:
So yes, I believe One Nation could indeed sack Fraser Anning and appoint one of their own. I'm not sure why they haven't, but it probably has something to do with the rules of the current senate and members being sworn in for a particular term.

They have booted him out or caused his being no longer a Member of PHON.  He then became a Member of KAP.  They booted him out...of the Party...but he remains a Senator notwithstanding all of that.

Quote:
Actually, Sam Dastyari quit.

Yes.  I have conceded that error.  But...my comments otherwise are accurate.

Quote:
But I'm curious. How do parties replace senators when they quit or die, but not replace them when they leave the party they were elected to serve?

I.e, Fraser Anning?

He did not quit, or lose, his position as Senator after losing Party Membership.

What a bunch of namby-pambies this nation has become under feminist tutelage...

Well - I'm sorry to say that such an event was inevitable - but that still doesn't make it right, and I long ago said that it appeared the NaZiland Muslim population were a pretty peaceful lot.

So, BTW, were the majority of people killed in terrorist attacks worldwide....

abhorred the actual event

Whan did he supposidly say this, it was not in any of the original quotes ?

Seems to be an  attempt to produce a retrospective get out of jail card.

Brenton Tarrant didn't take any white lives, dear. Everyone he shot was tinted.

Whitey lives to fight another day, no?

For a change ....... the point is that MohamedMosque was a change from the general run of events... the one exception that proves the rule .. but that in discussion of terrorist events, it is more often the case that White Lives Don't Matter...

Er, Tarrant referenced another naughty Whitey from Norway, dear. He also mentioned Mr Trump, Brexit, various European leaders, and said this is his time.

You?

I see. So what you are saying is this fellow emigrated to New Zealand, said WE DON'T WANT THEM HERE, and decided to make a point by taking 50 of them out.

Ban them, kill them, cesterete them. And it's all the Muselman's fault.

Is that the argument here, Dnarever?

I'd ask Sprint, he's from New Zealand - he flew here.

But he's joined the exodus to Stormfront.

Funny how they get so many refugees from this site, no?

Thought experiment.

At a gathering of (your choice of identity group here) 50 of them are killed in cold blood.
Must we then stop being critical of said group? (After observing the decent interval of mourning and rites).

No.

Anning essentially blamed the victims by pointing out that their religion was what provoked the mass murder. This blame undermines his claim of condemning the gunman.

Marvellous analysis there, old boy, but we were just dealing with the question of whether these so-called "victims" are to blame.

You know, WE DON'T WANT THEM HERE. WE GREW HERE, THEY FLEW HERE. FCK OFF, WE'RE FULL.

What do you think?

Qantas has expelled Fraser Anning from its exclusive Chairman's Lounge club in the wake of yesterday's dramatic censure motion in the Senate.

The plush waiting room, reserved for the top ranks of politics and business, is invite-only. Membership is often offered to members of parliament.

But Qantas decided to review Anning's access after his comments on the Christchurch terror attack. Now he has been kicked out.

News.com.au has contacted Anning for comment.

The Chairman's Lounge offers the highest level of service possible for a Qantas customer, eclipsing the airline's Platinum One membership. Qantas CEO Alan Joyce once described it as "probably the most exclusive club in the country".

It is not even possible to buy a membership.

Details of the club's features and perks are largely kept secret, though we know they include seat upgrades and unlimited food and alcohol.

What do you expect from that little Irish giit

And you support this bullying and intimidation?

Shame on you.

Yes, but perhaps he had no choice in the matter, have you considered that? Perhaps his defence - a la Anders Breivik - is that he grew here, they flew here.

Have you weighed up an act of self-defence?

That's right. Some of Fraser's best friends are Muslims.

And remember, Muslims are not a race.
