Saudi Arabia has been promoting and fomenting extremism in SouthEast Asia for decades with the support of the US and the West in general since the USA used terrorism against the Russians in Afghanistan in the 1970s and 1980s. Pakistan is still suffering from the import of terrorism that the USA supported to fight in Afghanistan.

Saudi Arabia saw the opportunity to spread Wahabism and Sunni influence throughout SE Asia by the establishment of Madrasas (schools) where they could infest and poison young minds.

In the past, the USA did not oppose Saudi Arabia's extremism because it was useful to the USA in the Middle East to spread chaos and disunity in Nations.

ISIS is the result of stupid US policy in Iraq and Saudis fomenting, financing, and arming Iraqi Sunni extremists.

Finally, a sensible post from Fart till your eyes water.

To add. Few years back, a very rich and powerful Saudi visited Bali to reinforce the Moslem presence there in its effort to pulverise the Hindu establishment there before it.
It's in Moslem indonesia's best interests to destroy all 'indigenous' minorities still in existence in indonesia and Hinduism is a minority to be extinguished.

Mind you - Iran will soon teach the Saudi's that Allah is greater than Money, especially when every other Moslem nation will want to 'cash in' on ransacking the Saudi wealth  Wink

Iran: "I am a river to my people!"  Grin

One state recently passed the death penalty for apostasy into law, with the support of the majority of Malaysian Muslims. Gandalf reassures us they don't really mean it, even though it was only overturned on constitutional grounds.

FD how do you continue to get this so wrong, after explaining it to you so many times?

First, the law was not passed "recently", it was passed in 1993. Secondly it was not overturned, rather it was from the very beginning a law on paper only - as constitutionally, state law is unable to impose the death penalty. This has been the case all along - nothing was "overturned".

Also what on earth has this got to do with a high number of Malaysia protection visas? Are you seriously suggesting they are all coming from the tiny states of Kelantan and Terrenganu - with a combined population of just over 3 million people?

Are you trying to make a point with this thread Karnal?

What do you think of all those Indonesians supporting stoning people to death for something that should not even be a crime?

I say, is that a question?

Is that worse than Israelis imprisoning and murdering Palestinians for sport?

Gaza is an Israeli shooting gallery.

Good question, Laugh. And is it worse than the Saudis literally beheading people for things that should not even be a crime?

That's a question.

Turd polishing: correcting someone's mistake when they claim that a nearly 30 year old law was created "recently" and thereby demolishing the idea that this false claim is a plausible explanation for a spike in the number of asylum seekers in the last 2 years.

We should really have our version of Oscars, Logies in the form of a shiny Turd.

I would like to open the presentation with this...

Three Turds for the Admin/Gmod-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Mod - lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Black Orchid's PA Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord Aussie on his dark throne
In the PA of Monkey Mania where the Shadows lie.
One Turd to rule them all, One Turd to find them,
One Turd to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the PA of Monkey Mania where the Shadows lie

Ah, but what type of Jellyfish are you referring to Karnal?
The poisonous Box jellyfish, the painful Blue Bottle jellyfish or the harmless plain jellyfish that is what the Nipponese are forced to eat???

I must have left that claim out of the quote.

Here's the whole claim FD with the bits you left out:

LTYC pointed out:
Quote:
in 2017-2018, Malaysians submitted more protection visa applications than Chinese did.

to which FD replied:

freediver wrote on Apr 14th, 2019 at 10:10pm:
Probably the Muslims on the push side. One state recently passed the death penalty for apostasy into law, with the support of the majority of Malaysian Muslims.

So just so we're clear, you are claiming a law that was brought in in 1993, and which has resulted in precisely zero executions in the ~26 years since it was passed, "probably" caused a spike in Malaysian protection visa application in the years 2017-18.

Or in other words, nonsensical rubbish.

So when I said "Muslims" you heard "a law that was brought in in 1993"?

Actually when I heard "One state recently passed the death penalty for apostasy into law"

I heard "One state recently passed the death penalty for apostasy into law"

Funnily enough  Smiley

Do you still think its a "recent" law?
