In fact, pretty much all of them were smoking.

(Why do Europeans smoke so much - it's disgusting)

Anyway, I'm guessing a discarded cigarette butt now.

Tobacco is way cheap over there compared to here.

Less than half the cost of what we pay here, according to a chart I just found.

The smoking is the only part of Europe I don't like.

I've been to some wonderful restaurants in Vienna, for example, but the experience is spoiled by people smoking a their tables.

Moreover, while they're puffing away their dogs are under the table stinking the place up with their farts.

Get rid of the dogs and smoking, and I'd gladly live in Vienna.

fat chance of that.
